Spain and Sweden players join together for a protest before their match earier this month.

On September 15, Rubiales attended court as summoned by de Jorge to assist in the ongoing investigation into potential charges of sexual assault and coercion against him.

The Spanish Prosecutors' office stated that Rubiales responded to the judge's questions and denied the charges presented by all parties.

Subsequently, the judge issued a restraining order to Rubiales, prohibiting him from approaching Hermoso within a 200-meter radius and from communicating with her while the court's investigation is ongoing.

Vilda and the others have been named as suspects amidst the Spain women's national team's efforts to recover from the incident that overshadowed their World Cup celebrations.

Following the tournament, the team has emerged victorious in both of its Women's Nations League matches, triumphing over Sweden and Switzerland in the previous week.

However, despite their call-up to the national team, numerous players declined to participate until RFEF implemented substantial and comprehensive reforms.

After intensive discussions involving the federation and the Spanish government, the majority of the 23 chosen players, specifically 21 of them, ultimately acquiesced to play the scheduled matches once RFEF promised to promptly overhaul its organizational framework.
