Explosive Revelation: Classified Nuclear Submarine Information Leaked by Trump to Mar-a-Lago Member

Former President Trump reportedly shared sensitive details about US nuclear submarines with a Mar-a-Lago member, raising concerns about the security of classified information

Donald Trump, the previous US President, reportedly had a conversation with an individual at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, regarding classified information concerning American nuclear submarines. ABC reported this on Thursday. According to sources, the person in question is Australian billionaire Anthony Pratt, who had a close association with Trump during his presidency. CNN's Kaitlan Collins, who is well-informed about the subject, confirmed that Pratt was questioned by the special counsel investigating Trump's possession of classified documents after leaving office. Additionally, another source informed CNN's Kristen Holmes that Pratt is included in the potential witness list for the upcoming trial.

According to sources, Pratt reportedly shared the information he received from the former president with a group of foreign officials, his own employees, and a few journalists during a meeting in April 2021, as per ABC's report.

ABC's sources also mentioned that a former Mar-a-Lago employee expressed concern about the former president disclosing this information to a non-US citizen. This employee claimed to have heard Pratt discussing potentially sensitive information shortly after his meeting with the former president.

The allegations were not part of special counsel Jack Smith's indictment of Trump regarding his handling of classified documents. However, Smith's team was informed about and conducted an investigation into the incident, as per ABC's report.

A spokesperson for Trump criticized ABC's report, stating to CNN that the claims are lacking in necessary context and pertinent information.

"The Department of Justice should focus on investigating the act of criminal leaking, rather than engaging in groundless witch-hunts. It is evident that President Trump has committed no wrongdoing, consistently emphasizing the importance of truth, transparency, and adherence to the law," stated the spokesperson.

CNN attempted to contact Pratt for a comment, but received no response. Meanwhile, the spokesperson for Smith declined to provide any comments.

According to ABC sources, Pratt reportedly informed investigators that following his suggestion for Australia to purchase submarines from the US, Trump proceeded to disclose the number of nuclear warheads carried by US submarines and their capability to approach Russian submarines undetected. However, Pratt clarified that he was not presented with any official government documents during this conversation. Additionally, during Trump's presidency, Pratt Industries established a plant in Ohio, which was inaugurated by Trump himself, who commended the businessman in his speech.

During the visit, Pratt intended to unveil two plaques - an official one commemorating the plant's opening in the US and a second one, previously discussed with Trump, that read "Make America and Australia Great Again." However, officials at the plant's opening quickly removed the second plaque and advised Pratt against displaying it.

CNN obtained an audio recording of a meeting Trump had in July 2021 at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. In the recording, the former president admitted to possessing a classified Pentagon document regarding a potential attack on Iran. CNN's exclusive report of the audio served as crucial evidence in the special counsel's indictment.

Trump is currently confronted with 40 charges related to the classified documents matter, encompassing deliberate possession of national defense information and participation in a conspiracy to impede justice. This is among the four instances where the ex-president is facing indictment.

Having expressed his intention to regain presidency and maintaining his status as the leading candidate for the GOP, Trump made a plea on Wednesday, requesting the judge overseeing the case to postpone the trial until after the 2024 elections. A similar request was previously turned down.
