Exploring the Weapon and Equipment Supply Crates in Precious Cargo: A Comprehensive Guide to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

In the first mission of Modern Warfare 3, called Precious Cargo, players will begin with only a knife and no specific objective. They will receive a radio message advising them to search for equipment. Throughout the combat area, orange supply crates are scattered, which players must find to acquire weapons, field upgrades, and tactical gear for their mission arsenal.

Once discovered in a supply crate, these items can be permanently equipped at the beginning of the mission or reequipped at any of the loadout crates within the mission area. Any items unlocked are also available for all difficulty levels in the campaign. This means that players can gather equipment during an easier playthrough to prepare themselves for a more challenging Hardened or Veteran difficulty run.

Players will find 21 total weapon and equipment supply crates in the mission Precious Cargo.

West Area

There are eleven supply crates in the West area of the map, disregarding the cargo ship area.

D-4 Supply Crate

Players will find a supply crate on top of some red shipping containers in D-4. Inside players will find a BAS-B battle rifle with a thermal scope.

D-8 Supply Crate

Players can discover a supply crate within a D-8 blue shipping container. Positioned atop another container, this specific container is accessible only from the North side. Upon unlocking the crate, players will be delighted to uncover a Silenced Expedite shotgun.

C-5 Supply Crate

Players can find a supply crate in C-5 on the ground in between a group of shipping containers. Players will find a GS Magna with a front grip in this crate.

E-7 Supply Crates

In the warehouse located in E-7, players will come across two supply crates. The one situated on the East side of the room, next to the armor plate refill, contains a 556 Icarus LMG for players to acquire. On the West end of the room, near the plate carrier upgrade, players can find another crate that provides them with a Snapshot Pulse field upgrade.

Players will find a third supply crate on the roof of this warehouse - use the ladder on the south end of the building to reach the crate and acquire the PILA launcher.

E-6 Supply Crates

In E-6, players can discover two supply crates near the burning truck behind the excavator. The first crate is located inside the shipping container directly behind the excavator. Upon searching it, players will uncover a Recon Drone field upgrade in the supply crate.

Upon opening the crate, utilize the adjacent boxes to ascend onto the shipping container. Directly in front, gamers will discover another supply crate containing a Silenced Rival-9 SMG equipped with a thermal scope and a versatile canted red dot sight.

D-6 Supply Crates

In D-6, players will come across a green shipping container with the Shadow Company insignia (depicting a club with a rook inside) marked on one door. This container contains two supply crates. Look for the green container with the insignia and an orange door that is partially open. Once inside, open the crates to discover an MTZ 556 assault rifle and a Silenced WSP Swarm SMG, both valuable additions to the mission arsenal.

D-7 Supply Crate

Players will find another Shadow Company container in D-7 with a supply crate inside that will give players the Heartbeat Sensor.

East Area

Players will find seven supply crates in the East part of Precious Cargo's mission area.

G-7 Supply Crates

Across the hall from the office where the Cargo Manifest is found players will find a supply crate with an RPK LMG inside.

Players will find another crate in G-7 on the roof of the Harbor Tower. Players will find an Explosive Victims SMR sniper rifle in the crate on the roof.

H-7 Supply Crates

At the Harbor Tower in H-7, players who successfully reach the third floor will discover a supply crate located in the room to the right of where the Cargo Manifest can be found. Inside this crate, players will be delighted to find a powerful Pulemyot 762 LMG.

Players will find another supply crate in H-7 on the first floor in the garage, this crate will give players a Munitions Box.

G-4 Supply Crate

There is a supply crate located on a mid-level railing at G-4. This railing is found on one of the cranes that are typically used for moving shipping containers. To access the crate, start by climbing up the ladder on the crane. Once you have ascended past the platform, proceed to jump off. By opening this crate, players will be able to acquire a Signal 50 sniper rifle, which can be added to their arsenal for the Precious Cargo mission.

I-6 Supply Crate

Players can find a Silenced ISO Hemlock assault rifle with an infra-red sniper scope inside a crate located in the small medical office on the East side of the map in I-6.

F-4 Supply Crate

Players can discover a supply crate in the F-4 warehouse, located in the room behind the lockers, which will grant them a Hybrid STB 556 assault rifle equipped with a sniper scope.

The Ship

The final trio of supply crates within this mission area can be found on the cargo ship. The initial one is situated on the northern side of the ship's main deck. Once you have ascended the line leading to the ship, make your way forward and locate the section that is painted in green and white. Proceed through the first door on the left and discover the crate containing an Incendiary Bryson 800 shotgun.

Players will come across the subsequent supply crate upon climbing the stairs leading to the bridge. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, players should enter the ship and proceed through the first door on the left to locate the crate. Inside the crate, they will discover an RGL 80 rocket launcher, which will be a valuable addition to the Precious Cargo arsenal.

Players will discover a crate located on the ship's bridge in close proximity to the GPS tracker. Once the tracker is obtained, simply turn around and proceed through the doorway situated to the left of the radar system. Within this area, players will stumble upon a supply crate containing the highly sought-after KVD Enforcer sniper rifle.

As a hard fan of the Call of Duty franchise, I am always excited to explore the new weapons and equipment supply crates in each mission. In Precious Cargo, the first mission of Modern Warfare 3, there are a total of 21 supply crates scattered throughout the combat area. These crates contain a variety of weapons, field upgrades, and tactical gear that can be used to complete the mission.

I found the supply crates to be a great way to get my hands on new and powerful weapons. In one crate, I found a BAS-B battle rifle with a thermal scope, which was perfect for taking out enemies at long range. In another crate, I found a Silenced Expedite shotgun, which was great for close-quarters combat. I also found a number of field upgrades, such as the Snapshot Pulse and the Recon Drone, which gave me a tactical advantage over my enemies.

Overall, I think the weapon and equipment supply crates in Precious Cargo are a great way to add variety and excitement to the mission. They give players the opportunity to try out new weapons and equipment, and they can also be used to complete the mission in different ways. I am looking forward to finding more supply crates in the rest of the Modern Warfare 3 campaign.
