The show aired from 2003 to 2007 and followed the wealthy socialites as they took on various menial jobs. After The Simple Life ended, Hilton went on to appear in several more reality shows. These included Paris Hilton’s My New BFF (2008-2009), The World According to Paris (2011), Cooking with Paris (2021), and Paris in Love (2021-2024).

Over two decades since The Simple Life, Hilton announced that she and Richie were collaborating for a fresh reality show.

In a shared Instagram post in May 2024, the pair teased, "New Era. Same Besties. ‍️Coming soon to Peacock."

‘The Simple Life’

Hilton and Richie starred in The Simple Life from 2003 to 2007 on E!. The show followed the two women as they traveled across the U.S. and took on various odd jobs. Thanks to the show's success, both Richie and Hilton were catapulted into fame, with them acknowledging the series as a major factor in their current status.

One year after The Simple Life ended, Paris Hilton launched a new reality show called Paris Hilton’s My New BFF. Airing from 2008 to 2009 on MTV, the show featured 16 women and three men competing in various challenges to win the title of Hilton's new best friend. The success of the show led to the creation of two international versions: Paris Hilton’s British Best Friend in 2009 and Paris Hilton’s Dubai BFF in 2011.
