Joshua Jackson gained fame as Pacey Witter on the hit show Dawson’s Creek in the ‘90s. Fans were not only captivated by his on-screen performance but also curious about his romantic relationships outside of the show.
During his time on the WB series, Jackson was romantically involved with his on-screen love interest Katie Holmes, who portrayed Joey Potter. He also had a brief relationship with guest star Brittany Daniel.
Holmes hinted at her relationship and breakup with Jackson in a September 1998 interview with Rolling Stone. She mentioned that their dynamic was similar to that of Dawson and Joey from the show. Despite their split, they remained close friends and continued to work together on the series.

Holmes and Jackson's characters on Dawson's Creek ended up together on screen, but their real-life romance only lasted a year. The two actors were rumored to be dating in 1997 after meeting on the show.
When asked about the relationship rumors in 1998, Holmes shared with Rolling Stone, "I'm just going to say that I met somebody last year. I fell in love, I had my first love, and it was something so incredible and indescribable that I will treasure it always."
Holmes revealed that the romance with Jackson had come to an end, although she did not mention his name. She expressed her gratitude for their friendship, stating, "I feel lucky to have him as one of my closest friends. He has been in the industry for a long time and has been a great source of support and guidance. I admire him both personally and professionally."

Brittany Daniel
Jackson was reportedly dating Daniel, known for playing Eve Whitman in four episodes of Dawson’s Creek. They were rumored to be together in 1999, the year Daniel made appearances on the show. The pair attended the Radio Music Awards together in October of that year. However, their relationship didn’t last long and ended shortly after the event.

Rosario Dawson
Dawson began dating Jackson in 2002 and for the next year, the pair were spotted looking cozy on several occasions. The duo called it quits in 2003.

Diane Kruger
The actor from The Affair dated Kruger for a decade, from 2006 to 2016. Six years into their relationship, Jackson mentioned to We that marriage wasn't in their plans. He stated, "Marriage is important for the people it's important for, but neither one of us is particularly religious, so I don't think there's any particular push. But never say never! I don't know."
After being together for six more years, the couple eventually decided to part ways, as confirmed by Us in July 2016. Representatives for both stars stated, "Diane Kruger and Josh Jackson have decided to separate and remain friends."

In October 2018, Jackson and Turner-Smith sparked rumors of a romance when they were seen being affectionate at Usher's birthday party. Just under a year later, in August 2019, the couple elevated their relationship by appearing at a courthouse, suggesting they may have obtained a marriage license.
In December 2019, it was revealed that the couple had gotten married in secret and were expecting their first child. Turner-Smith gave birth to their daughter in April 2020.
Fast forward two years, fans began to speculate when they noticed Jackson and Turner-Smith had unfollowed each other on social media. Us confirmed in October 2023 that Turner-Smith had filed for divorce, citing September 13 as the date of separation.

In October 2023, there was buzz surrounding Jackson when he was spotted at a concert with Nyong'o and some friends. This happened not long after it was revealed that Jackson and Turner-Smith had ended their relationship, as well as Nyong'o and her boyfriend, Selema Masekela.
Two months later, it was revealed that Jackson and Nyong’o were officially dating. A source shared in December 2023 that they had been together for a short period of time. They are keeping their relationship low-key and private.
