Derek Hough and his wife Hayley Erbert recently performed together in Hollywood, Florida. The talented couple dazzled the audience with their synchronized dance moves while wearing matching sparkly outfits.

Hough and Erbert looked stunning as they danced together. Hough wore a silver jacket with dress pants and a collared shirt, while Erbert wore a sleeveless dress with fringe and stomach cutouts.

Erbert's return to the tour was on Sunday, April 14 in Melbourne, Florida for the 2024 tour kickoff. This was a triumphant moment for her, coming back after undergoing emergency brain surgery four months prior.

The former So You Think You Can Dance contestant shared on Good Morning America on April 5 that she was given the green light to rejoin the tour. Hough expressed her excitement about dancing alongside her husband, whom she married in August 2023, and reuniting with their fans.

Hayley Erbert, who has been sporting a buzz cut since her surgery, has been receiving a lot of love from fans during the performances.

After her first show back, Erbert was moved to tears as the crowd cheered for her. A video capturing this moment was shared on TikTok.

Hough shared in December 2023 that Erbert had to go to the hospital because she felt confused after a performance on the Symphony of Dance Tour in Washington D.C.

In an Instagram post, Hough explained that Erbert was found to have a cranial hematoma caused by a burst blood vessel, and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Erbert had a second surgery called cranioplasty. Hough updated on Instagram that it was successful on December 21. Hough admired his wife's strength during an interview on Good Morning America in February.

He mentioned that during her health scare, he realized how important she is, not just as his love, but in everyday things. It was a moment for him to step up and he was amazed by her strength.

In that same month, Erbert shared about going through a range of emotions during her healing journey in an Instagram video update.

"I still have good days and bad days, both emotionally and physically," she shared. "But I can feel myself healing more and more each day."

Erbert first met Derek in 2014 when she was chosen to be a dancer in his and his sister Julianne Hough's Move Live Tour. Their relationship blossomed the year after and they got engaged in June 2022.

Erbert couldn't help but praise her husband's talent just one month after her brain surgery. He had just won his 4th Emmy for choreographing Dancing With the Stars.

In January, she took to Instagram to express her admiration, saying, "What a way to be welcomed home after such a challenging month. @derekhough, your drive, brilliance, and dedication to excellence never fail to impress me. I've enjoyed being a part of your journey so far and look forward to what the future holds. I love you more than anything and am incredibly proud of you, today and always."
