Monica Garcia, a former cast member of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, revealed on the "Viall Files" podcast that she and her boyfriend, Braxton, are expecting a baby together. How Did Monica Meet Braxton?

Garcia met Braxton while she was filming season 4 of RHOSLC. She mentioned that he works in Utah at Wasatch Excursions and manages the property. Braxton was 28 years old at the time. Garcia also shared that it was at Wasatch Excursions where she and Heather Gay filmed their snowmobiling scene.

During the excursion, Garcia asked Braxton if he was single, to which he replied that he was "courting" another woman. Garcia jokingly expressed confusion, saying, "What does courting even mean? I'm not living in Bridgerton times."

Courting is a term commonly used in the Mormon faith, which both Garcia and Braxton used to follow. However, they are no longer members of the church. (Garcia was excommunicated after confessing to her bishop about her affair with her brother-in-law.)

Several weeks later, Garcia started seeing Braxton after she put her phone number in his phone during the outdoor adventure.

Braxton’s Job

Braxton Knight is the manager of Wasatch Excursions, a company that provides snowmobile, ATV, and UTV adventures at Wasatch Mountain State Park in Utah. In a recent interview with Fox13 in October 2022, it was revealed that Braxton Knight is the general manager of Wasatch Excursions. Additionally, Garcia is a follower of a private Instagram account belonging to a man with the same name.

How Did Braxton Find Out About Monica’s Pregnancy?

Garcia revealed her pregnancy to Braxton while she was on her way to California for Viall's podcast recording. She admitted that she didn't handle the situation well, saying, "Actually, I kinda messed up. I did him so wrong when I told him." As she was boarding the plane for her work trip, he expressed his love for her, and she blurted out, "I'm pregnant," before turning her phone on airplane mode for takeoff. Despite feeling guilty for her abrupt reveal, it turned out okay because she was nervous about his reaction. She explained, "I was so scared of his answer. I just went into 'airplane mode' and gave him time to process everything."

Once Braxton finished his work and Garcia’s flight arrived, he shared his excitement about becoming a first-time dad.

Garcia mentioned that they were both surprised, but he has been amazing and very supportive.

Garcia seemingly hinted at Braxton’s identity in a Monday, April 8, Instagram video.

"You have no reason to be here! NONE. No purpose!" she wrote in her post. "It's not about you, it's never been about you, and it will never BE about you, but keep fixating on me, bb."

The upload featured a video of a mystery man, whose face was hidden from the camera, carried Garcia away.

When Did Braxton Meet Monica’s Daughters?

Garcia wanted to make sure her relationship with Braxton was "serious" before introducing him to her children. She explained on Thursday's episode that she is very protective of her girls, and the pregnancy was what prompted her to take action. She made sure Braxton met her children before inviting him to her home, and she only visited his house because she wanted to be certain that their relationship was serious before introducing him to her daughters.

Garcia decided to break the unofficial tradition set by her mom. She didn't want her daughters to meet every man she dated like she had to. The Bravo star emphasized her determination to do things differently.
