Tori Spelling caused speculation about her finances, marriage, and intentions when she was seen at an RV campground with her five children after leaving their home due to mold. Although the family has not permanently relocated there, there are a few reasons behind the viral pictures.
According to an exclusive source, Tori is attempting to have an affordable summer vacation with her kids. The source explains that Tori is well aware that her less extravagant vacation will attract attention, but it is what she can realistically afford at this time.
Spelling, aged 50, was recently photographed with her children — Liam, 16, Stella, 15, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, 6 — outside a campground in Ventura County, California, as reported by the New York Post. Speculations quickly arose that the Spelling-McDermott family had temporarily relocated there due to the evacuation of their residence.
Another source informs Us that the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star is simply seeking a break from the Los Angeles scene for the summer. The source adds that she is searching for tranquility for both herself and her children, while carefully managing her finances to achieve this at present.
The source also mentions that Spelling has been facing "financial challenges" while raising her five children. The insider reveals that she is not in a stable financial situation and has not been mindful of her money over the years, neglecting to consider her family's future. As a result, the consequences are now catching up with her.
According to the source, it has been a significant period since Spelling and McDermott, 56, have established a responsible budget and they frequently spend money without considering the possibility of it running out.

Following a string of difficulties, the actress now finds herself embroiled in financial turmoil and taking an RV vacation. Back in May, Spelling disclosed on her Instagram Story that she and her children have been battling a severe illness, unable to recover, due to a mold infection in their residence. "Our challenges have escalated due to our mold problem and the detrimental impact it has had on our health for the past three years," Spelling shared at that time.
Less than a month later, McDermott made a now-deleted announcement on social media, revealing that he and Spelling had separated.
In June, a third source reassured that Tori and Dean are not getting a divorce. Despite their fair share of challenges like any couple, they have been actively working on their marriage through couple's counseling and are now stronger than ever. Their love for each other is unwavering, and they are committed to staying together.
As for the current state of their marriage, Spelling and McDermott have not provided any additional information. However, Tori's mother, Candy Spelling, mentioned on July 7 that Tori is doing well, but she has no knowledge of any divorce intentions.
“I have unwavering love and support for my daughter, no matter what path she chooses. If Tori were to ever require financial assistance, I would unquestionably be there for her,” expressed Candy, 77, in an interview.
As stated by another source, Candy had previously provided financial aid but has now discontinued it. This shift in support has caused tension between Tori and her mother, as Tori believes she is entitled to a share of her late father's wealth. The source explains that the relationship between Candy, Tori, and Dean has gradually deteriorated in recent years. However, they are actively working on restoring their bond for the sake of their children and maintaining a united family.
