Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford have become parents for the third time! In an interview published by Vogue on Tuesday, October 10, Mulligan, 38, revealed that she and her 36-year-old husband had welcomed their newest addition earlier this year. The interview took place when Mulligan was six weeks postpartum, according to Vogue's reporter.
"Here I am, all set for Vogue," Mulligan playfully quipped to the writer, playfully acknowledging a stain on her shirt caused by her diaper-clad little one. "I'll go ahead and change you, and then we'll find Mommy another shirt."
After getting married in 2012, Mumford and Mulligan are proud parents to a 7-year-old daughter named Evelyn and a 5-year-old son named Wilfred.
Mulligan refrained from providing any additional information regarding the baby's name or gender. However, she emphasized that her and Mumford's life in the English countryside outside of London is "very normal." "School runs, Sunday lunches," she mentioned, highlighting their typical activities. Mulligan also acknowledged the challenges of juggling their professional careers with parenthood, referring to it as "tricky logistics."
In January, Mulligan's representative confirmed that the actress is pregnant with her third child. During the AFI Awards in Los Angeles, held in the same month, Mulligan proudly revealed her baby bump on the red carpet.
Mulligan and Mumford initially met as children at a Christian church camp. They continued their connection through letter writing and eventually reconnected as adults.
