Nickelodeon held a Halloween-themed event at its Burbank, CA lot to celebrate the spooky season. Attendees enjoyed various activities such as face painting, a slime lab, and pumpkin decorating. Alongside, Nickelodeon showcased a special preview of upcoming releases including scenes from Monster High 2, A Really Haunted Loud House, and the Monster High animated series.

Included in the 11-minute preview were song and dance numbers from the two live-action films. The Monster High franchise has captivated multiple generations of fans, attracting a whole new audience with its live-action movies and the new animated series. Similarly, Loud House has successfully made the transition from animation to live-action, with A Really Haunted Loud House being the third installment in the live-action film series.

Monster High 2 Footage

Monster High 2 reunites the gang for their second year at school, but things are not as bright as they seem. The recently released footage from the Nickelodeon Halloween Party showcases a captivating song and dance performance that is sure to stick with viewers. In this scene, Clawdeen and her friends engage in a heated debate with newcomer Toralei Stripe and Headmistress Bloodgood regarding the use of witchcraft and magic. As fans of the first film may recall, Monster High had previously lifted the ban on magic in order to promote inclusivity.

In typical musical fashion, the characters express their conflicting views through the power of song and dance. Clawdeen's lyrics emphasize the importance of embracing the unknown, while Toralei argues for fear. It becomes apparent that witches have arrived at Monster High due to suspicions of Draculaura employing magic. After the song reaches its conclusion, Headmistress Bloodgood announces that, although both sides presented valid arguments, witchcraft will once again be prohibited on campus, essentially returning them to the same position as in the majority of the previous film.

Monster High 2: Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, and Frankie Stein embark on their sophomore year at Monster High, where they will confront a series of formidable obstacles. This year proves to be even more testing as they encounter new classmates, discover new abilities, experience evolving friendships, and confront an overwhelming threat that not only threatens to shatter their bond but also has the potential to alter the course of the world forever. A Really Haunted Loud House Footage

Attendees were treated to yet another captivating performance as the footage from A Really Haunted Loud House showcased the Loud family's extravagant Halloween celebration. With the exception of Lincoln, who was attending a Middle School party, the family put on a sensational show for the neighborhood. They not only had an intricately designed haunted house, complete with family members emerging from graves, but their minivan was also creatively decorated for the holiday. Luna Loud, standing proudly atop the minivan, captivated everyone with her guitar playing and soulful singing. In the meantime, Lincoln struggled to navigate the party, facing issues like overeating and even needing to ask for a plunger for the toilet – a true comedic experience.

In A Really Haunted Loud House, the story revolves around Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde as they face a difficult decision between trick or treating with the Loud family's famous Spooktacular or attending a party thrown by Xander, the popular new student at their school.

Monster High (The Animated Series) Footage

The footage of Monster High (the animated series) that was shown correlates well with the scene that we were shown from Monster High 2. It was only a short clip, but it shows the use of magic and witchcraft, then reveals that Headmistress Bloodgood is not too keen on it. Draculaura and her father, Dracula, are in the woods looking for something. It appears that Dracula is trying to hunt down a magic user, and Draculaura is trying to explain something to him -- likely that she is the one who has been practicing witchcraft.

Toralei brings a wheelbarrow filled with enchanted items, which prompts Draculaura to use her magic to teleport Toralei directly in front of Bloodgood at the school. Dracula and Headmistress Bloodgood mistakenly believe that Toralei is the one with magical abilities.

In the chilling month of October, the animated series of Monster High returns with new episodes featuring everyone's beloved monster crew. Presented by Nickelodeon and Mattel, the revamped Monster High showcases the journey of iconic teenage monsters such as Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, and Deuce Gorgon as they explore their identities in the one place they truly belong: Monster High.
