Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the original game, is poised to claim the title of the Super Smash Bros. killer. Recent leaks have all but confirmed that the game is currently in production. While the first installment fell short of expectations, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has the potential to surpass its predecessor by enhancing and expanding upon its core features. One crucial aspect that could greatly enhance the sequel is the inclusion of a beloved Nickelodeon franchise that was absent in the previous entry.
A recent leak for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has revealed that El Tigre will join the roster of cartoon characters as a fighter, a fitting addition indeed. However, the absence of characters from The Fairly OddParents, despite the inclusion of heavyweights like SpongeBob, Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Rugrats, feels jarringly out of place. As a classic Nickelodeon show with immense character potential, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 has the unique opportunity to rectify this omission and incorporate representation from The Fairly OddParents.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2 Could Do a Lot With a Fairly OddParents Character

The game's competitive gameplay mechanics and controls were greatly appreciated by fans. Despite its basic features, each character felt carefully designed in terms of their moves and how they interacted with the game's physics. This made it challenging for Ludosity, the developer, to envision a Fairly OddParents character as a fighter in their first attempt. However, when considering potential fighters for a sequel, there are a few good options from the series to consider.
While making Timmy Turner work as a solo fighter would be difficult, creating a duo character with Cosmo and Wanda seems like an obvious choice. This character could function in a similar way to the Ice Climbers in the Super Smash Bros. series, where players control both Cosmo and Wanda simultaneously, coordinating their movements and attacks. Since Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl already includes Ren and Stimpy as a similar duo character, an alternative approach for Cosmo and Wanda could be inspired by the Pokemon Trainer in Super Smash Bros. Here, the player can switch between them, with Timmy Turner in the background making wishes for them to perform their attacks.
If this character is deemed too complex for the roster of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, a simpler option would be Jorgen Von Strangle from Fairly OddParents. As the strongest fairy and enforcer of Da Rules, Jorgen would be an ideal candidate to join the brawl alongside other Nickelodeon characters. While he may not be as well-known as Cosmo or Wanda, the game has previously included side characters like Hugh Neutron from The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius.
In addition to character representation, Fairly OddParents offers some excellent stage options for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2. Fairy World would be a fantastic choice with its vibrant neon sign, becoming an iconic visual. An alternative option could be Timmy Turner's house, although there is a risk of it being too similar to The Loud House's stage. With so much untapped potential from this iconic series, it would be a significant missed opportunity if The Fairly OddParents were not included in some capacity.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
