Since its announcement in 2019 and subsequent confirmation for Xbox Game Pass, Party Animals has garnered significant attention. With less than a month until its release, developer Recreate Games is finalizing important information that will cater to the enthusiasm of those eagerly anticipating September 20th.

Party Animals is a multiplayer physics-based brawler and party game, offering players the choice of 12 animal characters to engage in combat. The game draws inspiration from Gang Beasts but offers more refined visuals and an expanded array of features. Currently, Party Animals has two planned modes: Last Stand, a free-for-all skirmish, and Snatch Squad, a capture-the-flag mode. The game is set to release on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, and will be available on Game Pass on its launch day across all platforms.

Gamescom 2023 has been running throughout the entire week, and we have some exciting announcements for Party Animals as part of this event. Firstly, Recreate has planned three closed betas before the official launch of Party Animals at the end of this month. These closed betas will take place on the weekends of September 1, 8, and 15, offering fans the opportunity to play Party Animals prior to its release. To gain access, interested players must register on either Steam or the Xbox Insider Hub. However, please note that access is not guaranteed as it is invite-only.

In addition to the closed betas, we have another piece of news pertaining to Party Animals' pre-order rewards. Those who pre-order Party Animals will receive exclusive DLC content, including a special outfit and avatar for the character Nemo, the adorable corgi in Party Animals. The outfit will bestow Nemo with a royal crown and cape, adding an extra touch of regality to this lovable doggy character.

A new Party Animals trailer was revealed for Gamescom 2023, showcasing various levels and the chaotic gameplay that players can expect. Battles will occur in different settings such as a flying jet, a dangerous rope bridge, a frozen waste, a soccer field, and even near a black hole. With a total of 20 maps, each containing unique physics-based obstacles.

For Xbox Game Pass users, there might not be a specific need to pre-order or participate in Party Animals' closed betas. However, providing additional support to Recreate Games would be greatly appreciated. The first closed beta will commence on September 1.
