You may never have the same cool jacket or perfect hair as Leon Kennedy, but now you can experience the world through his eyes with the release of Resident Evil 4 VR Mode on December 8. Capcom has announced that this free add-on will be available alongside a demo for all PlayStation VR 2 owners on the PS5.
Resident Evil 4 VR Mode includes the entire main storyline of the game and features 3D audio. Additionally, the game offers a Shooting Range to allow players to test out physical interactions with the various weapons in the game, such as the iconic handgun or rifles. This Shooting Range mode will also be included in the free demo for PSVR 2 owners.
Capcom announced the VR version of Resident Evil 4 early in the year and followed up with a debut trailer for the VR mode in May at a PlayStation Showcase. In September, the game released the Separate Ways DLC, featuring Ada Wong. The VR Mode for Resident Evil 4 will be available next month, and the game is also nominated for Game of the Year at The Game Awards on December 7, with a total of four nominations.
