"But in the middle of their mission, they are unexpectedly ambushed and are forced to rely on their Danger Room training to save themselves."

The preview provided new information regarding the series, confirming Jean Gray's pregnancy and the addition of Archangel, Bishop, and newcomer Sunspot to the team. It also paid homage to the original X-Men animated series by showcasing Cyclops' strong leadership skills, credited to the excellent writing.
