Jax Taylor made a nightclub appearance in Atlantic City on Friday, June 30th. During the event, he appeared to confirm his return to Vanderpump Rules. Taylor, who is 43 years old, attended the Ocean Resort's 5th birthday celebration, where he interacted with fans and distributed merchandise. According to an eyewitness, he hinted at a potential future cameo on Bravo.
"I'm here to indulge in drinks, capture memorable moments through photos, and engage in lively discussions about Vanderpump. Let's delve into the world of Vanderpump for a moment, shall we? I promise to deliver something extraordinary," Taylor bantered with enthusiasm to the enthusiastic crowd at the NOLA club. "I'm determined to bring it to the right audience. Oops, I might have revealed too much. My apologies!" Although Taylor, a former SUR bartender who stepped away from Vanderpump Rules in 2020 due to his wife Brittany Cartwright's pregnancy with their son Cruz, did not elaborate on his potential comeback to reality TV, an insider reveals that he had a mysterious grin that hinted at a secret.
Taylor also video called his former costars Tom Schwartz and James Kennedy to showcase the event decorations. The decor consisted of a unique piñata resembling a mustached worm, which was a reference to Kennedy's insult during the reunion of season 10. Kennedy, the DJ who made the insult, had directed it towards Tom Sandoval while discussing his scandalous affair.
Taylor was one of the original SURvers on Vanderpump Rules when it debuted on Bravo in 2013. During his time on the popular reality TV show, he was notably in a relationship with Stassi Schroeder before eventually finding love with Cartwright, who is 34 years old. The couple, who tied the knot in 2019, made the announcement one year later that they would no longer be part of the Vanderpump Rules cast.
In December 2020, Taylor expressed on Instagram that the past 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling of his life. However, he revealed that he and Brittany will not be returning for another season of the show. Instead, they are focusing on their growing family and new endeavors. They will always cherish their connections with BravoTV, EvolutionUSA, and their Vanderpump castmates. Taylor expressed gratitude towards the fans who have supported them throughout their journey.
Following their time on Jax and Brittany Take Kentucky, Taylor and Cartwright welcomed their son Cruz in April 2021. They have recently re-entered the Bravo world by providing commentary for season 10 episodes and recapping scenes from the latest season for Peacock subscribers. This experience, particularly their Watch Me miniseries, has sparked their interest in possibly returning for season 11, which is currently in production.
"We're starting to feel the excitement just from having the cameras and crew around," Cartwright exclusively revealed to We last month. "It was so enjoyable to experience that lifestyle again. When we were on Watch What Happens Live [With Andy Cohen], I even got a little emotional backstage because being on the show was such a significant part of my life for six years, and for Jax, nine. So, it was really satisfying to be able to do those things again."
On Wednesday, June 28, news broke that Taylor, Cartwright, and fellow cast member Kristen Doute would be starring in a new Vanderpump Rules spinoff. However, no further details about the new series have been disclosed.
