Foxx's close associates have emphasized to him that his journey to recovery is continuous. The insider reveals that due to significant weight loss, it will require some time for him to regain full physical strength, which is why they advise him to take it easy.

In April, reports emerged that Foxx, aged 55, was admitted to the hospital due to a "medical complication." During this time, his eldest daughter, Corinne Foxx, disclosed details about the health scare on Instagram, assuring everyone that Jamie was on the path to recovery.

Jamie's recovery journey has been described as "really" successful by a recent source. They mentioned that everything is currently improving and Jamie has a supportive team around him. Despite keeping quiet about the specifics of his health situation, Jamie addressed some of the rumors on social media last month.

"You know, sometimes things spiral out of control when I stay quiet. People made assumptions about my abilities, with some even suggesting I was blind. But as you can clearly see, my eyes are functioning perfectly fine!" Jamie expressed in a video shared on Instagram on July 22. "There were rumors about me being paralyzed, but let me clarify that I am not. However, I did go through an incredibly challenging ordeal, with some unexpected setbacks along my road to recovery. But now, I'm making a comeback and I am capable of working again."

The Academy Award winner admitted that he experienced something that he never imagined encountering, and this is why he chose not to keep his fans updated. "I simply didn't want you to witness me in that state," he explained.

Jamie expressed his desires, stating, "I prefer for you to witness me enjoying myself, laughing, and having a great time at parties, cracking jokes, and working on movie and television projects. I didn't want you to witness me in a vulnerable state, connected to medical tubes, and uncertain about my survival." Furthermore, Jamie extended his gratitude to those closest to him for their unwavering support during his journey.

Jamie expressed his profound gratitude for the incredible support he received from his family, describing the sense of joy and relief it brought him. He emphasized the unwavering loyalty and secrecy they displayed, vowing to shield him from any harm. Jamie expressed his wish for everyone to experience such unwavering support during challenging times. In a heartfelt video message, he acknowledged and thanked his well-wishers for their continuous support.

“I have a deep love for everyone and I appreciate all the love I have received,” he concluded. “If you happen to see me in public and witness me occasionally bursting into tears, it is simply because I have endured some challenging times. I was unwell, but I am now in a better place and you will see me more often. I hope you remember me for the humor I share, the movies I create — even if some are not great — and the songs I perform.”
