Ariana Madix, the popular reality star of the year, is revealing exclusive insider information about the biggest secrets of Vanderpump Rules. In the latest issue of We, Ariana, 38, shares that none of the cast members currently work at SUR. Despite the show's claim to follow Lisa Vanderpump as she maintains control over a group of employees, the cast has moved on to pursue other ventures since the show's premiere in 2013.
Outside of the Bravo series, success does not mean being taken care of by production. Ariana reveals that they are not provided with wardrobe from the show, except for the cast photo shoot. When filming and going out, Bravo only covers two drinks, and the stars have to pay for the rest. Ariana also mentions that if they choose to drink, they are required to use Uber or Lyft.
The stars have limited control over the show's yearly group getaway, particularly when it comes to choosing the location. Ariana explains that the cast does not have a say in where they go on these trips. Additionally, determining the guest list can be complicated. While sometimes the person planning the trip has some influence over who attends, even then, it is not guaranteed. However, if a cast member does not want to go on the trip, they have the option to decline. The topic of who will be included on the vacations may be a significant discussion point for Pump Rules season 11, which began production in June. Filming resumed shortly after the explosive season 10 finale, where Ariana confronted her ex-boyfriend Tom Sandoval about his affair with fellow cast member Raquel Leviss.
Ariana and Sandoval, aged 40, ended their nearly nine-year relationship when Ariana discovered that Sandoval had been having an affair with Leviss, aged 28, for several months. Surprisingly, this was the only secret romance that evaded the cameras' capture, Ariana jokingly mentions to Us.
Ariana Madix believes that when it comes to stirring up drama on Pump Rules, her ex-boyfriend Tom takes the lead. However, she acknowledges that Lala Kent is exceptional at captivating the cameras in a positive way.
Ariana readily admits that she is the one who dedicates the most time to getting ready among the drama-filled cast of Pump Rules. With a smirk, she confesses, "I take the longest to get ready."
However, Ariana's extended preparation time is well-earned. Despite enduring heartbreak and a highly publicized breakup, she has managed to find the silver lining and keep herself busy and successful. Notably, she scored a role in a Lifetime movie, graced the White House Correspondents dinner, is currently competing on the thirty-second season of Dancing With the Stars, and is also preparing to launch a sandwich shop alongside her co-star Katie Maloney.
"This situation made me realize my capability to tackle challenges," she shared during her Us cover shoot. "The unimaginably dreadful event actually occurred, yet I persevered. See for yourself - you possess the strength to overcome any obstacle."
