Celtic captain, Callum McGregor, has recently signed a fresh five-year contract with the Scottish Premiership champions. McGregor, who started his journey with the club's youth academy at the age of eight, has notched up an impressive tally of 62 goals in 420 appearances across various competitions.
McGregor has achieved great success at Celtic Park, winning 20 domestic honors and experiencing the guidance of four different managers since his debut in 2014. In 2021, following Scott Brown's departure to Aberdeen, McGregor was bestowed with the captain's armband.
He is the third Celtic player to agree a new long-term deal after striker Kyogo Furuhashi and winger Daizen Maeda committed their futures until 2027.
