Over the years, the settings app on Windows has undergone various changes, but it has not completely replaced the legacy Control Panel. In the latest redesign of Windows 11, the homepage of the settings app is being revamped.
The latest Insider build of Windows 11, version 23493, brings forth a revamped Settings homepage. This new design showcases various settings that you may wish to customize, including wallpapers, display options, and sound settings. Additionally, it features tiles providing information about your Microsoft account, such as available space on OneDrive and the status of your Microsoft 365 subscription.
With this redesigned page, you can swiftly take action on critical areas of the operating system and your account. What sets it apart is its ability to adapt and cater to your preferences and workflow, dynamically altering the displayed cards. The rest of the settings app will remain unchanged, as it is solely the homepage that undergoes modification.
The Dev channel is currently introducing this feature to users. If you prefer to avoid any potentially disruptive bugs that could negatively impact your overall experience, it may be advisable to wait for this feature to be available to all users in a timely manner, expected within the next few months.
