Hallmark revealed on Wednesday, April 10, that they have started filming two new additions to the popular franchise. Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe, and Geoff Gustafson will be returning to portray their beloved characters: Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman.
Creator Martha Williamson expressed her gratitude for the unwavering support of our ‘Postable’ fans throughout the past 11 years. The fans have eagerly awaited the next chapter in the lives of the Dead Letter family, showing their dedication through podcasts, posts, and in-person gatherings nationwide.
Martha Williamson gushed about the unique and devoted SSD fans, stating that we are excited and honored to embark on this incredible journey with them.
Thirteen Signed, Sealed, Delivered movies aired between 2013 and 2021. Additionally, there was a short-lived series of the same name that lasted one season in 2014.
Throughout all the films, Oliver’s Dead Letter Office workers worked to get lost letters and packages back to their rightful owners while solving mysteries along the way. Following a two-year hiatus, Hallmark Mystery is bringing the characters back to life starting with 2024’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tale of Three Letters (which is a working title).
The official logline states that Oliver, Shane, Rita, and Norman are working together to figure out who the intended recipients of three dead letters are. These letters unexpectedly have a personal impact on all of them. Meanwhile, Oliver and Shane are navigating the challenges of adjusting to married life after the honeymoon phase.
The second new project, titled Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Back, is set to premiere in 2025.
The Postables are about to embark on a new adventure in the upcoming movie, facing exciting life changes as mentioned in the press release. Their next mission leads them on a road trip to find the recipient of a lost letter, as well as track down a rock star who holds the keys, the logline reveals.
Samantha DiPippo, senior vice president of development at Hallmark Media, praised Martha Williamson for creating an incredible world with beloved characters that fans adore. She mentioned that the fans' passion for the show is unwavering, and they are excited to present two new movies filled with heart, hope, and faith.
The entire Signed, Sealed, Delivered catalog is available to stream on Hallmark Movies Now.
