Apex Legends is set to feature a collaboration with Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth. Horizon, who has been trying to find a way to time-travel back to her son after being trapped in a black hole, can be seen in the trailer with Wraith and Crypto. Crypto appears in a Cloud Strife cosmetic skin and wields Cloud's iconic Buster Sword, hinting at a possible recolor for his Biwon Blade Heirloom Weapon.

The collaboration seems to be a Collection Event, although it is not specifically named in the trailer.
