What Is Next For Spider-Man In Live-Action?
Following the incredible success of Spider-Man: No Way Home in 2021, the development of Spider-Man 4 has been underway for almost two years now. Presently, no director has been confirmed, and although there have been discussions about the storyline, the identity of the screenwriters involved remains unknown. Prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Holland mentioned that he had been engaged in meetings with Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, but chose to keep his future in the MCU under wraps.

Interestingly, there may be another project in store for Maguire's Spider-Man, according to Thomas Haden Church, his co-star from Spider-Man 3. In a recent interview, Church mentioned rumors about Maguire and Sam Raimi working on a Spider-Man 4 installment, although these claims are yet to be confirmed or denied by Sony Pictures.
On the small screen, Prime Video and MGM+ are collaborating with Sony to create a live-action Spider-Man TV universe. Currently, Silk: Spider Society and Spider-Man Noir are confirmed to be part of this project, although it remains uncertain if it will be connected to Sony's Spider-Man Universe.
It wouldn't be surprising if Holland's Spider-Man reunites with Maguire and Garfield's versions in Avengers: Secret Wars as The Multiverse Saga comes to an end. Given the overwhelmingly positive response to their appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home, it would be strange if Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures didn't bring Maguire and Garfield back at least one more time. However, for now, Spider-Man fans can enjoy Holland, Maguire, and Garfield's movies through streaming services or on Blu-Ray/DVD.
