Prior to the SAG-AFTRA strike, Holland mentioned that he had been engaged in meetings with Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, but chose to keep his future in the MCU under wraps.

Interestingly, there may be another project in store for Maguire's Spider-Man, according to Thomas Haden Church, his co-star from Spider-Man 3. In a recent interview, Church mentioned rumors about Maguire and Sam Raimi working on a Spider-Man 4 installment, although these claims are yet to be confirmed or denied by Sony Pictures.
