Emily Ratajkowski wowed everyone with her daring outfit at the 2024 Met Gala. She continued to turn heads at the afterparty with another stunning look.
At the afterparty, Ratajkowski, who is 32 years old, was seen wearing a see-through Givenchy dress. The dress featured blue star detailing, a multicolored neck, and fringe edges. She completed the look with a bejeweled black bra and underwear underneath the vintage frock.
Stylist Jorden Bickham shared with Vogue that both Emily and she pondered deeply about time and fragility. She highlighted the exquisite craftsmanship of the Givenchy after-party dress from 1998 by Lee McQueen and the Atelier Versace red-carpet look from 2001, both adorned entirely with hand-beaded details, impressively maintaining their pristine condition even after more than 20 years.
Emily Ratajkowski opted to keep the same hair and makeup from the Met red carpet for her second look. She completed her ensemble with black sparkly heels featuring straps that elegantly wrapped all the way up her calves.
Prior to the afterparty festivities, Ratajkowski turned heads at Monday’s Met Gala in a stunning vintage 2001 Atelier Versace haute couture gown. The dress, inspired by the night’s theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the dress code of “Garden of Time,” featured a beautiful floral design that resembled a butterfly wing.
Ratajkowski kept the spotlight on her backless dress by complementing it with a natural makeup look by Charlotte Tilbury Beauty, along with elegant gold and diamond jewelry. Her hair was styled in a chic spiky updo, completing her glamorous Met Gala ensemble.

Embracing her daring fashion choice, Ratajkowski joked about her revealing outfit during a chat with Vogue correspondent Emma Chamberlain on the red carpet. Chamberlain, 22, commented that the dress is actually not as revealing as it may seem, describing it as "business in the front, party in the back."
Agreeing with Chamberlain, Ratajkowski playfully added, "Yes, it's definitely a party in the back."
Ratajkowski took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes and red carpet photos from her time at the biggest night in fashion. She expressed her gratitude for being able to wear a 2001 Versace outfit at the 2024 Met Gala, thanking Vogue magazine for the opportunity.
At this year's Met Gala, Ratajkowski shone in a silver ensemble. However, at the 2023 event, themed "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty," she opted for a chic nude gown. Drawing inspiration from the late fashion icon, she wore a Tory Burch V-neck dress with black accents. To channel Audrey Hepburn, Ratajkowski styled her hair in blunt bangs and adorned it with a simple black bow in a half-up hairstyle.

Ratajkowski attended the 2023 Met Gala following her split from ex-husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. She expressed hope of meeting her future husband at the event, as shared with Entertainment Tonight.
The model tied the knot with Bear-McClard in 2018 and they welcomed their son, Sly, who is now 3 years old. However, their marriage came to an end in 2022.
