During an interview on Thursday, November 9, 42-year-old Eli Manning expressed his belief that the NFL bye week is the ideal opportunity to take a break from football. Manning stated that it is a time to rejuvenate the body and mind, preparing oneself for the second half of the season. Currently, he is utilizing his bye week to spend time with Taylor Swift in South America.
Kelce, 34, and the Kansas City Chiefs will have a break until November 20 following their recent triumph against the Miami Dolphins in Germany. Coincidentally, this break aligns with the start of Swift's international leg of The Eras Tour, which commenced in Argentina on Thursday.
Manning expressed his perspective, stating, "I believe it's perfectly fine for him to travel and go somewhere. If he wishes to support his girlfriend and attend her concert, I have no objections."
Manning mentioned that NFL teams typically receive "approximately four or five days" of rest during the bye week. He emphasized that this break from football is essential, considering the lengthy season.
When reminiscing about his bye weeks as a former player for the New York Giants, Manning shared that he would often visit his college and catch a game, especially if it was a significant match. Alternatively, he would take the opportunity to visit his parents.

Earlier this week, Kelce teased the possibility of visiting Swift in South America, suggesting that he might spontaneously decide to go somewhere idyllic to escape his increasingly pale complexion. This was revealed during an episode of his podcast "New Heights" with his brother Jason Kelce on Wednesday, November 8th.
Jason, who is 36 years old, asked if his younger sibling was heading "down south." In response, Travis said, "Closer to the equator."
Although Travis didn't attend Swift's first show in Buenos Aires on Thursday, he chose to go to a charity event organized by his teammate Patrick Mahomes in Kansas City. However, he was seen arriving in Argentina on Friday, November 10. Swift has two additional concerts in Buenos Aires before she travels to Brazil.
Travis and Swift have concrete plans to make their long-distance relationship work as their schedules get busier. A source exclusively revealed to us that they are a genuine couple who spend quality time together and have formed a strong bond. Earlier this month, the insider mentioned that they have intricate strategies in place to stay connected during Taylor's tour and Travis's games.
Travis originally attended a Missouri stop on the Eras Tour in July. He later shared on "New Heights" that he attempted to exchange phone numbers with Swift at the concert, but was unsuccessful. In September, he invited Swift to watch him play in a Chiefs game, which sparked rumors of a romance between the two. Since then, Swift has attended multiple games with Travis and has formed a close bond with his family. According to a second insider, although they have not yet declared their love for each other, it is evident to Swift's friends that their relationship is headed in that direction. Indeed, their friends believe they are in love.
