By conquering daily challenges, players can secure impressive comic book covers and a weapon charm that perfectly resembles Rick Grimes' iconic sheriff's hat. Dying Light 2 has recently introduced an exciting collaboration with The Walking Dead, uniting the two popular zombie franchises. Set in a post-apocalyptic world teeming with zombies, both Dying Light 2 and The Walking Dead share a common theme. As a result of this collaboration, a new bundle has been added to the game's store, which includes Rick Grimes' suit, Negan's knife, Lucille, Michonne's katana, and a specially themed glider.

The Walking Dead is a well-known franchise, thanks to its highly popular TV series and comic book by Robert Kirkman. Along with the main series, there have been various spin-offs and adaptations in other forms of media. Dying Light 2, developed by Techland, is an open-world game that focuses on parkour platforming and melee combat.

Recently, Dying Light 2 launched a crossover event with The Walking Dead to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary. This collaboration, announced earlier this month, is part of a series of events, crossovers, and updates called the Summer of Horrors, which will be hosted by Dying Light 2 until September. During this event, players of Dying Light 2 will have the opportunity to complete seven challenges, one per day from July 26th to August 2nd, in order to earn comic book covers. Those who manage to collect all the comic book covers will be rewarded with a weapon charm that resembles Rick Grimes' iconic sheriff's hat. Additionally, there will be weekly challenges available from July 26th to August 2nd, where players can earn the blueprint for Lucille, Negan's famous barbed-wire baseball bat by defeating 850 enemies. If the Dying Light 2 community collectively kills a total of 160 million enemies, all players will be able to wear a version of Rick's hat as an in-game item.

The partnership between Dying Light 2 and The Walking Dead has resulted in the introduction of a new bundle in the game's store. Included in this bundle are Rick Grimes' attire, Negan's knife, Lucille, Michonne's katana, the accompanying blueprints, and a thematically designed paraglider.

Although this collaboration stands out as one of Techland's game's most renowned crossovers, it is not the first time Dying Light 2 has joined forces with another game. Previously, a collaboration with Call of Juarez brought together two Techland games in a special event.

Techland recently unveiled its 2023 roadmap for Dying Light 2, introducing numerous enhancements and fresh content. One notable addition was the release of a recent update geared towards enhancing the nighttime gameplay experience. However, players can anticipate even more exciting developments, such as a DLC featuring new storylines, weapons, and locations. Dying Light 2 is currently accessible on various platforms, including PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
