Fulham are interested in signing Atalanta striker Duvan Zapata.
A proposed move for the Colombia international to join Roma has broken down and Fulham are now considering an approach.
Fulham is considering Zapata as one of the top choices for a new striker, as they sold Aleksandar Mitrovic to the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal for a club-record fee.
The club aims to secure contracts with up to five players, ensuring the inclusion of at least one winger, one full-back, and in the event of Tosin Adarabioyo's departure, a center-back. Additionally, there is a potential need for a midfielder. Fulham is currently engaged in advanced negotiations with Leicester regarding Timothy Castagne's acquisition. Castagne possesses the ability to operate effectively in both the right and left-back positions.
Fulham has expressed interest in acquiring centre-back Eric Dier from Tottenham and considers him a potential option before the deadline. Tottenham, on the other hand, has shown interest in Adarabioyo, and there have been discussions about a potential player exchange between the two clubs, along with some monetary compensation to Tottenham.
