Attendees of the Delicious in Dungeon anime’s limited theatrical run will have the opportunity to receive one of three different gifts each week. In the first week, they will receive a special 80-page booklet featuring an original manga drawn by series author and illustrator Ryoko Kui. Those attending in the second week will be given a miniature replica of an animation production envelope and an illustrated postcard. As for the third week, attendees will receive a 15-centimeter (or 6-inch) shikishi board with an exclusive sketch by Kui.
The series screening in theaters will offer fans the chance to purchase an acrylic stand featuring the characters (drawn by Kui), an acrylic illustration panel of the anime’s teaser visual, a B2-sized tapestry of the same visual, a clear file set, five individual character acrylic stands, two different sets of randomly distributed badges, and an acrylic mascot collection.
The Delicious in Dungeon anime series is scheduled to debut in January 2024 and will air until June across two consecutive cours. The anime features Kentaro Kumagai as Laios, Sayaka Senbongi as Marcille, Asuna Tomari as Chilchuck, Hiroshi Naka as Senshi, Saoru Hayami as Falin, Akira Miki as Namari, and Shinji Kawada as Shuro.
Directed by Yoshihiro Miyajima and produced by Trigger studios, the series is overseen by Kimiko Ueno who is responsible for the scripts. Naoki Takeda is in charge of designing the anime's characters, with Yasunori Mitsuda composing the music for the series. BUMP OF CHICKEN will perform the opening theme song, "Sleep Walking Orchestra." The anime will be streamed worldwide on Netflix upon its premiere in January 2024.
