Tomorrow, a Dune crossover will be introduced to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. This collaboration, which was leaked during Season 6, has now been officially confirmed with the release of the first look at the upcoming bundle.
Call of Duty shared an image of the operator skin in a tweet, stating, "The Sardaukar, the most fierce warriors in the known universe, are making their way to Call of Duty." The Dune operator bundle will be released on November 1, although no further information about the pack has been provided.
In the in-game shop of Modern Warfare 2, Call of Duty currently offers numerous collab bundles. Players can find characters from Diablo, Skeletor from the Masters of the Universe, Ash Williams from the Evil Dead, and Alucard from Hellsing.
Despite this being the final season of Modern Warfare 2, the good news is that Call of Duty's new Carry Forward program will allow most items to be transferred to Modern Warfare 3. This includes the entire weapon pool from MW2, camos, a majority of vehicle skins, and the impressive operator bundles.
Preorder a digital copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and you'll get early access to the campaign starting from November 2. While the preloading times for consoles are still to be confirmed, here are the specific details and preloading times for PC players.
Editor's P/S
As an enthusiastic fan of both Dune and Call of Duty, I am thrilled about the upcoming Dune crossover in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. The Sardaukar are some of the most iconic and fearsome warriors in science fiction, and I can't wait to see how they're brought to life in the world of Call of Duty.
I'm also excited about the potential for future collaborations between Dune and Call of Duty. The two franchises have a lot in common, and I think there's a lot of potential for great crossover content. I'm hoping that this is just the beginning of a long and fruitful partnership between the two franchises.
