Dragon Ball enthusiasts disappointed by lack of Sparking Zero & Daima panel streaming at Battle Hour

Dragon Ball fans furious as Battle Hour refuses to stream highly anticipated panels unveiling new details on Daima and Sparking Zero Outrage spreads over the decision, leaving fans disappointed and eager for updates

The Dragon Ball Hour event has caused outrage among fans for not live streaming panels that would disclose new information about Sparking Zero and the upcoming Daima anime. Although new details about Dragon Ball Daima were unveiled at New York Comic Con, the upcoming Battle Hour event will exclusively showcase additional details about the anime and the fighting game Sparking Zero for those who are able to attend in person.

Shortly after Dragon Ball announced the Battle Hour lineup, a flurry of applications flooded in from eager fans hoping to attend the event. In response, the organizers released a statement expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support. "We have been inundated with applications to attend the event. Thank you for your incredible support!" they exclaimed. "Please note that this will be an in-person event at the Los Angeles Convention Center. For those unable to attend, there will be no live streams available on the day of the event."

Naturally, this has the community enraged like Broly with many believing these policies are just outdated.

"Classic. Just when we're all hyped up for Dragon Ball's future, they drop the news that they won't be sharing their biggest projects after all," criticized one person.

Some mentioned the Daima panel at New York Comic Con as another example, where fans were disappointed that the show wasn't streamed live as expected.

, criticized Twitch streamer GamesCage.

Another bewildered fan commented, "First it was NYCC with Daima, now the largest annual online event? Who is behind these decisions?" - GamesCage - Hype Guy (@GamesCage_) January 10, 2024

Fortunately, the panels will be recorded and posted online after the event, but for those craving a live experience, this may not suffice. Nevertheless, Battle Hour promises to deliver a wealth of fresh Dragon Ball franchise updates and, with any luck, unveil new fighters for the highly anticipated new installment in the Budokai Tenkaichi series.

Editor's P/S

As a dedicated Dragon Ball fan, I am deeply disappointed by the lack of live streaming for the Sparking Zero and Daima panels at Battle Hour. It is frustrating that such highly anticipated events are not accessible to fans who cannot attend in person. In this digital age, live streaming has become the norm for major events, and it is unacceptable for Dragon Ball to exclude a large portion of its fanbase in this way.

The decision to not live stream these panels feels like a step backward and goes against the spirit of inclusivity and accessibility that should be at the core of any fan event. It is disheartening that Dragon Ball is not embracing modern technology and catering to its global audience. I hope that the organizers will reconsider their stance and make these panels available to all fans, regardless of their location.
