Dorit Kemsley from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is responding to comments about her marriage with PK. After announcing their separation, someone on social media questioned why they weren't as strong as they claimed. Dorit replied to the comment.

Dorit and PK, who got married in 2015, announced on Thursday, May 9, that they were separating after nine years of marriage.

As a couple, we have faced a lot of questions about our marriage. It's been tough for us in recent years, but we are committed to working through our challenges together because we care for each other and have two wonderful children, son Jagger (10) and daughter Phoenix (8).

In order to protect our strong bond and create a peaceful environment for our kids, we have decided to take a break and reassess our relationship. This is a difficult choice, but we believe it is necessary as we focus on our children's well-being.

We are grateful for your love and support as we navigate this journey. Your understanding means a lot to us as we work on what's best for our family.

During Dorit’s time on RHOBH, there were rumors circulating among fans and her co-star Erika Jayne about the state of her marriage. Despite this, Dorit and PK consistently denied the speculations.

Addressing the rumors, Dorit clarified in an exclusive interview with BravoCon in November 2023 that there is no truth to the claims of separation or divorce. She acknowledged the challenges faced in recent years, both in her marriage and personal life, but expressed confidence in the strength of their relationship.

Dorit also mentioned to Us that the couple, who are now separated, are optimistic about their future. She expressed her confidence that they will be able to work things out and improve their relationship.

During the filming of RHOBH season 13, fans noticed that something was not quite right with the Kemsleys. Dorit was still dealing with PTSD from a home invasion in 2021, while PK seemed to downplay her mental health struggles.

In a January episode, PK expressed his thoughts to the couple's therapist, saying, "There are aspects that I can relate to, but I don't believe all of it is PTSD. When does being high maintenance turn into PTSD?"

PK also kept planning work trips that required him to be out of town, including missing Mother's Day in 2023.

In a February episode, she expressed her feelings to PK, saying, "I am the mother of your children. I really want us to make an effort to be together on Mother's Day from now on, because it means a lot to me."
