Ramona Singer is content with her life following the fallout from her recent N-word scandal. "She's happy. Avery [Singer] is happy. Things that are important to her are working out, and I think she loves living in between New York and Palm Beach," Dorinda Medley exclusively told We while promoting The Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy on Thursday, December 14. "She's found her place and it's what we all want."
As she ages, 59-year-old Dorinda expressed her desire to follow in the footsteps of her 67-year-old friend Ramona and discover her next path in life. She admired how Ramona had found her happy place in Palm Beach and hoped to do the same for herself.
RHONY star Sonja Morgan expressed her happiness for Ramona in a recent update, noting that Ramona didn't want to disrupt her happiness and was handling everything with ease.
Ramona — a former RHONY cast member from 2008 to 2021 — garnered attention in October when Vanity Fair released an exposé on Bravo and The Real Housewives franchise. The article alleged that she used the N-word during a conversation with a Black crew member while filming RHUGT: RHONY Legacy.

Ramona was said to have used the term in a text conversation with a Page Six reporter, according to a screenshot of the messages. Following this, her name was swiftly removed from the lineup of BravoCon's talent, and she was absent from the three-day November convention in Las Vegas. An exception to her absence was her daughter, Avery, 28, who was still present at the event along with other RHONY Legacy stars. It was reported that she was very upset and distraught by the situation and planned to stay out of the public eye for the time being.
Bravo executives did not explicitly prohibit her from attending BravoCon, according to the source. They had a conversation with her about the event, but she expressed that she was not in the right state of mind to attend due to being too distressed. The insider stated that it was a joint decision between Bravo and Ramona, with her ultimately opting not to go and Bravo agreeing it was for the best considering the circumstances.
A different insider, however, mentioned that the network ultimately made the final BravoCon decision. “Ramona was informed that she will not be attending BravoCon,” revealed the second source. “It was not her decision to not attend.”
