To unlock the You Can Pet The Dog achievement in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, you must first destroy some zombies. Find a hellhound

Looking for a dog to feed after obtaining the zombie meat? No problem! These undead pups can be easily found in randomly scattered dog houses across the map. You won't have to venture too far, as these dog houses are typically located in the outskirts of the map where the threat level is low. Simply explore various Points of Interest (POIs) until you spot a dog house icon on your minimap. I've had success discovering these icons in areas like Sorokin Industrial, Souk Nuri, and near the highway in the Seaport District POI. Before you approach the dog house, it is advisable to eliminate any nearby zombies. Subsequently, proceed to interact with the dog house. It possesses inventory spaces similar to a backpack, allowing you to transfer the Chunk of Flesh item into it.

After exiting the dog house menu, the house will explode and a hellhound will appear. This friendly dog can be interacted with by pressing X/A to give it a pet.
