Although QR codes have made it easy for us to avoid typing out our Wi-Fi passwords, there may still be situations where you wish to retrieve the password from an old piece of paper. If you've forgotten the password for any reason, you can now view it on your Windows 11 PC.
Windows 11 Insiders are in for a treat as the latest build of the operating system is packed with a plethora of changes. One notable addition is the ability to view your Wi-Fi password in the Wi-Fi settings. This feature comes in handy if you need to type it out on another device, jot it down for future reference, or share it with someone.
Interestingly, this feature isn't entirely new. In fact, it was available in Windows 10 through the Network and Sharing Center. However, this center was removed when Windows 11 was updated. Fortunately, Microsoft is bringing back this useful feature.
If you want to check it out, you’ll need to wait a few weeks or months unless you’re an Insider.
