When Patrick Ta talks beauty, you listen.
Renowned makeup artist and beauty expert, Ta, known for his work with celebrities such as Gigi Hadid and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, has unveiled his unexpected skincare secret: juicing. Ta's partnership with Pressed Juicery introduced him to the beauty benefits of juicing, particularly the Pressed Juicery 7-Day Simple Cleanse, which he praises for helping him maintain a healthy diet and reset his body, especially during demanding weeks at work or on set.
He continued, "Juicing is excellent for achieving clear skin because nourishing your body from the inside out truly rejuvenates your skin. A single bottle of Simple Cleanse contains 25 percent of your daily vitamin C. What you consume has a direct impact on the health of your skin."
In addition to juicing, Ta shared his favorite tips, trends, and hacks.

What are your thoughts on TikTok giving every beauty trend a name?
“I’m really into TikTok’s naming of beauty trends because it inspires people to experiment with different makeup products and techniques they might not have considered. This way, they can discover what works best for their unique features and what doesn't.”

What is your favorite makeup trend this year?
I have been loving the Strawberry Girl trend for makeup this year. I recently released a new blush from Patrick Ta Beauty called 'She's Wanted' which creates a stunning berry effect. It gives a natural, flushed look as if you just returned from a vacation.
"My top makeup application of the year was on Gigi Hadid for the NMACC Gala in Mumbai in April. I adored this look because it embodied the bronzy makeup that I specialize in. It also provided me with the opportunity to travel and immerse myself in a new culture."

What makeup look do you prefer to create?
"I really enjoy focusing on the skin and overall complexion when doing makeup. My preference is to highlight the skin and then either create a bold lip or a bold eye look."
The proper way to apply makeup varies depending on the desired look. For a bold and smokey eye, starting with the eye makeup before the foundation is recommended. For a soft and natural eye, beginning with foundation would be more suitable.
Over the years, my makeup technique has undergone significant changes. I started off doing heavy makeup at the MAC counter, then transitioned to more natural looks while working with models and actresses in Hollywood. My technique then shifted back to bolder looks as I began working with musicians and singers. Now, I believe my technique strikes the perfect balance between everyday and red carpet makeup.

For those who are new to doing their own makeup, it's best to begin by discovering earth tone colors that complement your natural beauty. Start with these as a foundation.

How frequently should we replace our foundation, eyeshadows, and beauty brushes?
In my opinion, it is crucial to replace a Beauty Blender or a similar sponge if it cannot be properly cleaned or if it is damaged. On the other hand, makeup brushes can last longer if they are well-maintained.
