Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently facing sexual misconduct lawsuits, has filed a motion to dismiss one of the lawsuits. The lawsuit in question was filed by Jane Doe in 2023, as per court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, May 10.
Diddy's attorneys stated in their filing that the minor changes made to the original Complaint do not fix the false information and serious issues in the new pleading. They claim that the alleged incident never actually happened. The filing also pointed out that, like the original Complaint, the new one does not provide any valid legal claim and should be thrown out.
In addition, the court motion mentioned that the Plaintiff cannot even remember when the alleged incident took place, but somehow remembers explicit details very clearly. Because of this, the attorneys argue that the case should be dismissed immediately, to prevent any further damage to the reputation of the Combs Defendants and to avoid wasting more time and resources.
The rapper has not responded to the dismissal request yet. We have tried to reach out for comment.
It was previously reported in December 2023 that an anonymous woman, using the name Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit against Diddy in the Southern District of New York for alleged misconduct. She claimed that she was a victim of sex trafficking and gang rape by the music mogul in 2008. Doe stated that she was only 17 years old at the time.
Diddy subsequently denied her “sickening allegations” in a statement to Us.

"I have had enough. I have been quiet for a while now, watching as people try to ruin my reputation and legacy," he shared with Us in a statement. "Some individuals are making false accusations against me, hoping to get money quickly."
Diddy firmly stated, "I want to make it clear that I did not commit any of the terrible acts that have been claimed. I will stand up for my reputation, my loved ones, and for the truth."
One month prior, Diddy faced accusations of misconduct from his ex-girlfriend Cassie, who accused him of rape and ongoing physical abuse. Diddy strongly refuted the claims, and the lawsuit was resolved the following day. Despite this, more individuals have since stepped forward with allegations against Diddy, all of which he has denied.
In March, news emerged about Homeland Security conducting raids at Diddy's homes in Los Angeles and Miami as part of a federal sex trafficking investigation. Fortunately, Diddy was not present during the raids and he has not been arrested or charged with any crime. Despite this, his lawyer strongly criticized the allegations.
Diddy's attorney, Aaron Dyer, expressed concern over the excessive use of military force during the search warrants executed at Mr. Combs' residences. Dyer stated that there was no justification for the aggressive display of force and hostility by the authorities, as well as the mistreatment of Diddy's children and employees.
