Sean “Diddy” Combs has apologized for his actions during his misconduct scandal. This includes a video from the past where he was seen assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie.
In an Instagram video on Sunday, May 19, Diddy, who is 54 years old, shared, “It’s hard to look back on the toughest times in your life, but sometimes it’s necessary. I was in a bad place. I hit rock bottom, and there are no excuses for my behavior in that video. I take full responsibility for what I did, and I am truly sorry for my actions.”
Diddy captioned his post, “I’m truly sorry.”
CNN obtained footage from 2016 of Diddy allegedly assaulting Cassie, and published the clip on Friday, May 17.
Cassie’s attorney Douglas H. Wigdor stated on Friday that the upsetting video has reinforced Mr. Combs' troubling and predatory actions. He commended Ms. Ventura for her bravery and strength in speaking out about the situation.
