Lawsuit Alleges Diddy's Sexual Assault and Share of 'Revenge Porn' on College Student

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs faces serious allegations of sexual assault and the distribution of explicit material in a new lawsuit, filed by a college student who claims the incident occurred in 1991

Less than a week after his ex-girlfriend Cassie made similar allegations, Sean "Diddy" Combs is now facing another sexual assault lawsuit. The lawsuit was filed by a woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal on Thursday, November 23 in New York Supreme Court. She claims that Diddy drugged, sexually assaulted, and abused her back in 1991 when she was a college student. Court documents obtained by Variety also reveal allegations of "revenge porn" created and distributed by Diddy.

Dickerson-Neal filed a complaint under New York’s Adult Survivors Act (ASA) before the November 24 deadline. She alleged that she met Diddy while attending Syracuse University and appeared in one of his music videos. After the shoot, they went to dinner where Diddy allegedly drugged her intentionally before taking her home and sexually assaulting her. Dickerson-Neal also claimed that Diddy filmed their encounter and shared it with others. She is suing Diddy for substantial and lifetime injuries, as well as compensation for mental and emotional injury, distress, pain and suffering, and injury to her reputation.

Diddy has refuted the allegations in a statement to CNN, stating that Dickerson-Neal’s account is "fabricated and lacks credibility." We have contacted him for a comment.

Diddy's representative also stated, "This late-filed lawsuit shows how a well-meaning law can be misused. Mr. Combs never attacked her," adding that the lawsuit is merely a ploy for financial gain.

One week before, on November 16, Us confirmed that 37-year-old Cassie had accused Diddy of rape and ongoing physical abuse in a lawsuit. Diddy adamantly denied the accusations and the case was settled the following day.

In a statement released by her attorney Douglas Wigdor on November 17, Cassie (real name Casandra Ventura) stated, "I have chosen to resolve this matter in a peaceful manner, on terms that I have some level of control over. I want to express my gratitude to my family, fans, and legal team for their unwavering support."

Diddy’s legal team has asserted that settling with Cassie — whom he dated on and off from 2008 to 2018 — did not mean an admission of guilt.

Attorney Ben Brafman clarified, "It is important to note that settling the lawsuit, particularly in 2023, does not imply any admission of guilt." Brafman continued, "Mr. Combs' choice to settle does not weaken his absolute rejection of the allegations. He is pleased that they could reach a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura well."
