During Part 4 of the tell-all, Christine Brown's husband, David Woolley, made his debut on Sister Wives: 1-on-1, and he consistently supported his wife throughout the show. On the episode which aired on Sunday, December 17, David addressed Kody Brown's accusation that Christine, who is 51 years old, had been "Machiavellian" during their marriage.

Kody, 54, spoke to host Sukanya Krishnan about his experience, saying that if his ex-wife is not in love now, she was definitely acting Machiavellian in their marriage. He also expressed his belief that men tend to complain about their wives to their friends, but it's important to remain loyal.

David, who married Christine in October, made his on-camera debut by sharing that he sees his wife differently than Kody does. He stated, “He’s definitely wrong [about] her being backstabbing and stuff like. No, she’s not that at all. I don’t see that. And I’m a people person. I can read people. She’s not that way at all. She is really good.” David playfully mentioned that Christine can be “a little clueless about things that [go] on,” saying, “I’m like, ‘Christine!’ But as far as her being conniving, no.” He then shared his candid opinion of Kody, the father of eight children.

“He is very open about his feelings,” he commented on Christine's ex, with whom she has six children. "I am not like that. He wants to make sure you understand him."

Christine Reveals She Identifies With Cruella de Vil

In season 18 of Sister Wives, Christine and Kody had a heart-to-heart about their divorce and the future of their relationship as ex-spouses. This emotional conversation occurred following Kody's recovery from a challenging bout with COVID-19, with Christine nervously attempting to lighten the mood with a laugh.

Kody expressed his pain and how it has affected his family and dreams during the tell-all on Sunday. In contrast, Christine felt no remorse for laughing at Kody during a difficult time, even finding freedom in doing so. She admitted to hiding a lot from Kody and revealed her admiration for Disney villains, particularly Cruella.

“I was considering Emma Stone portraying Cruella in the 2021 film. And I’m thinking, ‘Yes, that’s a little bit crazy,’” Christine added, expressing that she now can finally be herself after leaving Kody.

“Can I just be myself sometimes with Kody? No, he didn’t like that. He only wanted me to be positive and fun, just the bubbly part of me,” she asserted. “Well, guess what? I’m no longer married to him. I don’t have to constantly apologize or suppress my true feelings.”

Kody Doesn’t Blame Christine for Family Unraveling

In spite of the dramatic split, Kody believes that Christine is not to blame for "destroying" his vision of a larger family. "That's all on me for marrying a woman I didn't love," Kody admitted. "No, that's the truth. And she knows it. No matter how hard I tried and devoted myself to making it work, it just wasn't meant to be."

Robyn Wants Permission From Sister Wives to Live Monogamously

After parting ways with Christine, Kody also ended his marriage with second wife Janelle Brown in 2022. Meri Brown, his first wife, announced their split in January, which left Kody still legally married to his fourth wife, Robyn Brown.

During the tell-all, Kody was firm in his stance that he had no interest in adding another sister wife to his family, expressing his contentment with Robyn, 45. "I would have to tell that new woman, 'I will never love you as much as I love her' because now I know better," he stated.

Meri, 52, admitted that she believes Robyn is "very sad" about their plural family falling apart. "I don't know how it would be being the one left standing," she said, adding, "If Kody loves Robyn so much that he can let go of the three of us, that's on him, not her."

Robyn confessed to feeling conflicted about being in a monogamous relationship with Kody after committing to their plural family. "It's strange to only show love and respect to Kody," she admitted. "I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. It feels disrespectful. Being happy with Kody feels disrespectful."

The show's host reassured Robyn that her sister wives wanted her to be happy with Kody, but Robyn was haunted by the vows she had made. "I need a private conversation, off-camera, to understand where I can go from here," she said. "I feel like moving on would be disrespectful to his children and to the commitments I made. My commitment to this family remains unbroken, and I don't know how to change that."

Christine Manifested Husband David

David disclosed that upon sharing Christine's dating profile with his daughter, "she suspected that I was being catfished," acknowledging that he was already familiar with Christine before their initial meeting. "The moment I met her, it just clicked," he reminisced. "We could chat for endless hours with no drama. Hard to believe, isn't it?"

David and Christine sat together watching an episode of Sister Wives where Christine talked about her perfect man. "Physically, I want a bald guy with tattoos who rides a motorcycle. That's the dream," Christine had revealed earlier.

Interestingly, David meets most of these criteria as he is bald, has tattoos, and even shares a matching tattoo with Christine that symbolizes "new beginnings" in Celtic. "She was shocked to find out I used to own a motorcycle. It was like she had manifested me," David shared during the tell-all.

Why Kody Can’t Forgive Christine Just Yet

After viewing a video of Christine explaining to her kids that Kody wasn't attracted to her during their marriage, Kody was upset. "That scene really bothers me because she's trying to get my children to take her side," he admitted. "Maybe I'm just being naive, but once again, I have an issue with her, essentially turning my kids against me in order to win favor with her. And that's what I believe is happening there."

Meri Is ‘OK’ Not Being Invited to Christine’s Wedding

Kody continued: "I was emotionally connected to her and in the eyes of my children, I was present and committed to her. However, she told them otherwise. What she did was unjust, and I genuinely wish her happiness and a fulfilling life, including finding love. Nevertheless, I cannot overlook the fact that she has subtly turned my children against me, and that deeply troubles me."

Part 4 of the season 18 special was filmed before Christine and David’s October wedding. Janelle, 54, and her six children, along with five of Christine’s kids and Meri’s child, Leon, attended the wedding. Meri was not invited, which she was fine with. She expressed on the tell-all, "I’m OK with it because a wedding is a very special moment that you don’t want to have any issues they’re not going to want. And I would not want to bring that, you know, kind of conflict of emotion into Christine’s wedding. I would not want that for her. I’m truly OK with that."

Janelle Isn’t Open to a Reconciliation With Kody

Janelle expressed her doubts about ever reconciling with Kody. She stated, "I don't foresee that we will ever reconcile. I don't. It would be some sort of, like, magic fairy tale where we all transformed into some sort of different people and that doesn't happen in real life."

Janelle mentioned that

Meri's perfect partner is someone tall, and she admitted, "I've always had a crush on Matthew McConaughey." Kody, on the other hand, has always crushed on Sophia Loren.

He also told viewers that Robyn’s pick is Ryan Reynolds. “That’s why I have six-pack abs now is because I got to keep the competition going with Ryan Reynolds,” Kody joked.
