Dave Portnoy Fires Back at Bethenny Frankel: 'I Couldn't Care Less'

During the November 29 episode of his “BFFs” podcast, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy addressed his recent breakup from Silvana Mojica and shared surprising details of a feud with Bethenny Frankel. He dismissed her opinion, stating, “You think I give a f—k what you think? I know your audience, first of all.”
After announcing their breakup earlier this month, Mojica, 28, and Portnoy, 46, faced rumors that Portnoy had cheated with Vanderpump Rules alum Rachel “Raquel” Leviss. Portnoy publicly slammed Leviss, 29, once a reporter reached out to him about the "insane" rumors he heard. (Leviss was previously involved in a cheating scandal with Tom Sandoval and his girlfriend, Ariana Madix earlier this year.)
He told Page Six in a statement on November 24 that he has never met that person in his life and finds it insulting to be mentioned in the same sentence. Upon hearing the "trash bag" comment, Frankel, 53, texted Portnoy at "1 a.m." to ask if he knew Leviss.
He claimed that his only knowledge of her is as the trash bag from Vanderpump Rules. He stated that Frankel had asked him to apologize to Leviss. Frankel's apparent support of Leviss comes months after the Pump Rules alum appeared on the former Real Housewives of New York City star’s “ReWives” podcast in August and news Frankel is producing Leviss’ upcoming podcast. "Bethenny - who I’d say I’m acquaintances, friendly with - texts me and she asks that about Raquel and then she’s like ‘You owe her an apology, it’s not true what happened.’ Like, what are you talking about?" he said on Wednesday’s "BFFs" episode. "I was like, ‘I gotta be honest ... I would never give unsolicited advice to somebody that has our relationship.’"

Brianna LaPaglia, the cohost of Portnoy, also known as Bri Chickenfry, criticized Frankel for texting Portnoy about the rumors, calling it "out of pocket." Frankel made "unprovoked" comments about Leviss in a TikTok video on November 25, which has since been deleted and reshared.
"He is not acquainted with Raquel, they have never crossed paths. She may have made mistakes, but his remarks about her are based on a manipulated, alcohol-induced reality show," she stated. "He is dealing with a tough breakup and I'm sure his ex has given him a hard time about being associated with Raquel, but that is no reason to speak to anyone that way, especially a woman."
In another part of the episode, Portnoy claimed that his comments about Leviss were no worse than what the public had "repeated a million times" following the Scandoval incident.

Portnoy provided insight into his breakup with Mojica during the podcast, admitting that he was ultimately responsible for the split. "We dated for three years," he revealed. "I guess you reach a point where you realize there may be a disparity in desires, and without going into specifics, I just didn't think I could give Silvana what she truly deserves."
