Jayla, 29, and Loriana Allen, daughters of Larry Allen, are honoring their late father, the former Dallas Cowboys star who passed away at the age of 52.
Jayla expressed her shock and disbelief on Instagram, stating, "I am at a loss for words. It feels like a bad dream that I can't wake up from. I used to pray every night for your safety. It still doesn't feel real, dad."
Jayla expressed her feelings of being heartbroken and lost, saying she doesn't know how to move forward. She described her father as the best, who loved her unconditionally and always put their family first. Jayla expressed gratitude for everything he has done for them, feeling completely shattered and unsure of what to do next.
She also mentioned that the pain of losing her father will always be with her, a feeling that will never go away.
"You were not just my best friend, but also my twin," she said with a warm smile. "Everyone always commented on how alike we were, and it always brought a smile to my face. I believe you are now at peace and reunited with granny. I will always love you, forever. Rest in peace."
