Before stepping onto the field, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott unveiled his pre-game playlist, and it definitely does not include Taylor Swift.
During an interview with Fox Sports' Erin Andrews on Sunday, October 29, Prescott, 30, expressed his apologies to America. When Andrews, 45, inquired whether he was streaming Swift's 1989, the NFL player confirmed that he was not. Nonetheless, Prescott mentioned that he enjoys listening to a diverse range of music.
"Just listened to Tracy Chapman's song 'Gimme One More Reason'," he mentioned. "I have a diverse music collection, ranging from Adele to Lil Wayne."
The inquiry arises against the backdrop of the NFL's extensive focus on Swift, who has been spotted in the stands on four occasions, cheering for Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The blossoming romance between Swift and Kelce may largely be attributed to Andrews, who, together with her cohost Charissa Thompson on the "Calm Down" podcast, takes the "credit" for setting them up.
Travis' reluctance to meet her was openly shared by Andrews during an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers on October 16. Due to their strong friendship and genuine care for him, they candidly advised Taylor to pursue a romantic connection with him."
Despite the early stage of their relationship, Andrews humorously expressed her desire to be involved in Swift and Kelce's future significant moments.
"Of course, we're receiving all the recognition now... We have high hopes of officiating the wedding," she joked. "We aspire to witness his proposal and all the other milestones."
Regarding Kelce's game on Sunday, Swift, 33, was not present. A trusted source informed us earlier this month that the singer of "Cruel Summer" doesn't plan on attending all of his games.
According to an insider, Taylor is mindful of not being a distraction to Travis during his games. She understands that her presence draws attention and wants to find a balance between supporting him and not interfering with the team. Interestingly, commentators noted the positive impact of Swift's presence on Kelce's performance, even though she wasn't in the stands on Sunday. Ever since Swift attended the Chiefs game last month, the team has been achieving success.
“How could I not be aware of this?” Kelce, 34, quipped on the “New Heights” podcast when his brother, Jason Kelce, asked if he knew about the impact Swift was having on him and the Chiefs.
