Finding this weapon is a straightforward task of locating its concealed location. However, players immersed in the game may inadvertently overlook the Volkodav amidst the myriad distractions. Here is the precise location to discover this incendiary machete.

Cyberpunk 2077 Volkodav Location

The Volkodav is located inside a chest that rests on top of a crate tucked away in a modest corner of the former NCPD police station in Pacifica. However, accessing the interior of the building is only possible during the "Waiting for Dodger" gig, which is a newly added side story introduced with the release of Phantom Liberty. To initiate this gig, proceed to the Dogtown entrance and keep an eye out for a car marked with a blue quest indicator on the map.

Upon reaching the car, engage in a conversation with Stella to commence the gig. She will inform the player that her fiancé Bill has urgently reached out for help, and it's V's responsibility to assist him. This task entails rescuing Bill and his partner Charles from Dodger, an influential Barghest officer with strong connections to Kurt Hansen. Enter the defunct police department, save Bill and Charles, and strive to exit unscathed, preferably avoiding any casualties.

If players are solely focused on acquiring the Volkodav, the method they choose, whether it be stealth or a more confrontational approach, becomes irrelevant. Once Bill and Charles are located, players will eventually guide them to the basement. After dealing with the Barghest soldiers in the storage crate-filled room, attention should be directed towards a sizable, yellow generator positioned to the right of the room's entrance. On the left side of the generator, a yellow box can be found, adjacent to which is a stack of crates faintly illuminated. Perched atop one of these crates rests a chest containing the coveted Volkodav, accompanied perhaps by a top-tier cyberware implant.

Players need to wait for Bill and Charles to conclude their conversation before they can interact with the chest holding Volkodav.

Volkodav is a machete capable of causing a special burn effect. When enemies are set on fire by this weapon, they become vulnerable to critical damage from gunfire. As mentioned in the item's description, the critical damage inflicted by Volkodav increases proportionally with the number of enemies it ignites. However, setting multiple enemies ablaze will decrease the accuracy of the weapon.
