Crystal Kung Minkoff has announced that she will not be coming back to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 14. In an Instagram video on Monday, April 15, the 41-year-old shared the news, expressing mixed emotions about leaving the show. She first joined the cast in 2021 for season 11 and took a moment to appreciate the fans for their support and for watching her journey.
Crystal playfully said, "This isn't goodbye, it's see you soon," and mentioned that her "biggest blessing" has been forming connections with the audience.
She expressed her gratitude for the love and support from everyone, and mentioned that this has been a truly enjoyable chapter.
Crystal has had conflicts with various costars such as Erika Jayne, Annemarie Wiley, and Dorit Kemsley during her three seasons on the show. She has also openly shared her struggles with an eating disorder that started when she was a tween.
During the 2023 BravoCon event, Crystal reportedly stirred up some drama by not getting along with Southern Charm star Olivia Flowers.
Olivia accused Crystal of being rude during a fan event in November 2023 on Instagram. In response, Crystal stated that she had no idea who Olivia was.
During an appearance on "The Viall Files" podcast in December 2023, Crystal claimed she had never met Olivia. However, a photo from a year earlier showed that they had crossed paths. Crystal believed Olivia called her rude at BravoCon because she was upset that Crystal didn't recognize her.
Crystal explained that it's not rude when people don't recognize her. She mentioned that she doesn't watch other Bravo shows, so if she doesn't know someone, it's not a diss. Crystal emphasized that it's not about ego, but simply a matter of not being familiar with others.

Before leaving RHOBH, Nicole Weingart from Bravo had a tough year. In April, the entrepreneur shared that her family's house was burglarized while they were overseas.
Crystal shared during a recent episode of SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live that while she was out of town, her housesitters (who were also her friends) had to confront attempted break-in at her home. Her girlfriend, who was house sitting, was very shaken up and FaceTimed Crystal to share the scary experience. Crystal felt bad and realized the need to enhance their home security measures even further.
Crystal, who was in Japan on spring break with her husband and kids, confirmed that her friends were unharmed after the incident.
Crystal isn’t the only potential change in the cast of RHOBH this year. Annamarie made it known in March that she won't be coming back after just one season.
Meanwhile, Kyle Richards hinted recently that she might make a last-minute decision about participating in season 14.
Kyle shared with Extra in March that this season has been especially difficult for her. She felt like she was constantly being scrutinized, not only by the cast but also by the public. Trying to navigate through this while also trying to figure out her own life has been a major challenge for her.
Even though Kyle and Mauricio Umansky announced their separation in July 2023, they have not gone through with a legal divorce yet.

Crystal Minkoff's departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills marks a significant change for the show. Her presence brought a fresh perspective and willingness to openly share her struggles with an eating disorder. Despite conflicts with fellow cast members, Crystal's ability to connect with the audience through her authenticity and relatability will be missed.
The article also highlights the challenges faced by other cast members, including Nicole Weingart's home security concerns and Kyle Richards's contemplation of leaving the show due to the emotional toll it has taken on her. These developments suggest a potential shake-up in the RHOBH cast, leaving fans to speculate about the future dynamics and storylines of the series.
