Crystal Kung Minkoff Accuses Dorit Kemsley of Delaying ‘RHOBH’ Season 13 Reunion

During The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 reunion, Dorit Kemsley managed to upset Crystal Kung Minkoff for reasons beyond the "child bride" comment.

Crystal, 40, shared on SiriusXM's Jeff Lewis Live on Thursday, February 29, that they had to wait for two hours for Dorit, 47, to get ready. The wait was quite long and frustrating for everyone involved.

Minkoff and some of the other women were frustrated because filming didn't start until late morning. Kemsley had been busy posting TikTok videos of herself getting ready, causing the delay.

In part 1 of the RHOBH season 13 reunion, viewers saw Kemsley getting sewn into her dress while the rest of the women waited on stage. She was the last one to arrive.

"I understand if she has a wardrobe malfunction, but watching videos of her goofing around in there is just rude," Minkoff expressed on Thursday. "I would rather sleep in or take my kids to school. Leaving at 5 a.m. is not my idea of fun."

Per Minkoff, the plan was to begin filming the reunion at 8:15 a.m. Jeff Lewis added that the women had a "30-minute grace period," so the actual start time was expected to be 8:45 a.m.

Lewis asked when Dorit was ready. Minkoff answered, "It was around 10 [a.m.]." Lewis was surprised to hear that the reunion had been postponed for "another hour and 15 minutes" due to Kemsley being late.

Minkoff remembered feeling annoyed while hanging out with friends. She was also stressed about the upcoming reunion and wanted to get as much rest as possible because she didn't sleep well.

Reunion host Andy Cohen made some jokes about Kemsley being late during part 1 of the reunion, and the cameras caught it all.

Cohen, 55, expressed his relief at arriving at 8:15 while waiting for Dorit's dress to be sewn. He exclaimed, "Oh, my God!" When Kemsley appeared on stage in a red hooded gown, Cohen added, "Oh, my God. Hey, hood."

Tensions escalated for Minkoff, reaching a breaking point when Kemsley's "child bride" comment was mentioned.

Minkoff expressed her disapproval to Kemsley during the reunion, stating, "That is a disgusting thing to say." She then shared her perspective as an Asian person, explaining that to her, calling someone a child bride is just as offensive as calling them a mail-order bride.
