Corrine, Jamie Foxx's Daughter, Announces Her Engagement to Joe Hooten: A Love that Lasts Forever

Jamie Foxx's daughter, Corrine Foxx, announced her engagement on Sunday, December 17th via Instagram. In her post, the 29-year old shared black and white photos of her and her fiance, Joe Hooten, including a picture of them embracing on the deck of a boat and a close-up of her engagement ring. She wrote, "From the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever."

Corrine and Hooten, both alumni of the University of Southern California, have been romantically involved since 2018, according to Page Six. The actress posted their first photo together in 2019, featuring the couple at a horse stable. "Spent the weekend with a couple of studs," Corrine captioned the Instagram post.

While they have mostly kept their relationship private, the couple has shared some glimpses of their romance, including a photo of them gazing at each other in formal attire.

Jamie, aged 56, welcomed daughter Corrine with his ex-girlfriend Connie Kline in February 1994. He became a father for the second time in October 2008 when his ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis gave birth to their daughter Anelise.

The Foxx family has experienced a year of challenges and triumphs. In April, Corrine revealed that her father had been hospitalized due to a "medical complication." Fortunately, he received prompt medical attention and is already on the road to recovery, as stated in a release.

The actor recently made his first public appearance after the news was revealed. During the Critics Choice Association's Celebration of Cinema & Television event in Los Angeles, while accepting the Vanguard Award, Jamie expressed gratitude towards his sister and daughter for keeping his condition private. He emphasized the importance of having someone like them in his corner.

Jamie shared a health update on Instagram in July but didn't give specifics about his condition. He credited his sister Diedra Dixon and his daughter Corinne Marie for saving his life, expressing his gratitude for their support.
