Saundra Glenn, 65, a Coldplay fan with arthritis, had a special experience on Sunday, May 26. Chris Martin offered her a ride to a U.K. concert.

She shared her story on Monday, May 27, explaining how Martin stopped his car to pick her up before Coldplay's headline performance at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton, England.

Glenn shared in her recent post about the incredible moment when Chris Martin from Coldplay noticed her struggling to walk, stopped his car, and offered her a lift. She described the experience as "blooming amazing" and couldn't believe it actually happened.

Glenn mentioned that she had a pleasant conversation with Martin, 47, and commented on what a nice guy he is.

During an interview with ITV News on Monday, Glenn expressed her determination to attend Coldplay's performance at Stockwood Park in her hometown of Luton, despite facing mobility challenges due to osteoarthritis.

Glenn expressed his excitement about seeing Chris Martin and Coldplay, mentioning how familiar he was with the park and how it was a rare opportunity to see the band live. He was determined to make it in time, even if he arrived late.

On his way to the Big Weekend event, a black Mercedes pulled up beside Glenn, a native of Luton.

Glenn recalled how a big black car suddenly appeared, and a kind woman peered out the window, offering to help. She asked, "You look like you’re struggling — what can we do to help? Can we give you a lift?"

Excitedly, Glenn shared that the woman invited her to sit in the back of the car, and to her surprise, Chris Martin was sitting there. Overwhelmed, she exclaimed, "You’re Chris Martin! Can I shake your hand?!"

Glenn mentioned that she and Martin chatted about their childhood in Luton during the ride. The singer also showed interest in her life and job.

After arriving at the designated artist area, Martin assisted Glenn in finding her way to watch Coldplay's performance.

“They put me in a buggy that said ‘artist’ on it and escorted me to the accessibility area. They were falling over themselves to help me,” she said.
