Ciara had all eyes on her — and her baby bump — at The Color Purple premiere.
Expecting her fourth child and third with husband Russell Wilson, the 38-year-old singer graced the Los Angeles red carpet on December 6, with her belly embellished in glitter. Ciara adorned her bump with gold leaf pieces, letting it peek out from her unbuttoned white shirt. She completed the look with a cascading cape and snowy trousers from Georges Hobeika, along with pointed-toe white pumps, adding even more drama to her ensemble. (Ciara shares daughter Sienna, 6, and son Win, 3, with Wilson, 35, and son Future Zahir, 9, with ex Future.)
Ciara continued the metallic theme with her stunning look, featuring gold eyeshadow and highlighter on her nose and cheeks. Completing the ensemble with wispy lashes, perfectly arched eyebrows, and a glossy lined lip, she exuded glamour. Her hair was styled in a wet bob, with a side part and a single tendril cascading down her face.

She posed for solo and group photos with her The Color Purple castmates, including Colman Domingo, Taraji P. Henson, and Fantasia Barrino. Domingo, 54, looked sharp in a maroon suit, while Henson, 53, stunned in a Vloro Mustafa gown. Barrino, 39, turned heads in a custom polka dot skirt suit by Sergio Hudson. The Color Purple is a film based on the 2005 musical, itself an adaptation of Alice Walker's 1982 novel and the 1985 film. The story follows the struggles of Celie, an abused Black woman striving for empowerment in rural Georgia. The musical was revived on Broadway in 2015, with Cynthia Erivo, 36, winning a Tony Award for her role as Celie.

Whoopi Goldberg originally played the role of Celie in the film, and now she has passed the torch to Barrino, who will be portraying Celie in the new movie. Ciara has been cast as Celie’s sister Nettie, while Halle Bailey will be playing the role of a young Nettie. Henson, on the other hand, will be taking on the character of Shug Avery, and Domingo will be appearing as Mister.
Ciara shared her thoughts on her role in the film during the Wednesday screening, expressing to Entertainment Tonight, "It was a deeply emotional experience. This role holds great significance, and I was fully aware of its impact before taking it on."
