Chris Brown faced criticism for dancing to Kanye West's new song, prompting him to defend himself on social media by stating he is not antisemitic.
The incident occurred when a video was posted on social media showing Brown dancing to the song "Vultures" performed by West, Lil Durk, and Ty Dolla $ign at a party in Dubai. West's lyrics, which include controversial lines about Jewish women and a reference to a threesome, sparked outrage against Brown.
Brown's apparent enjoyment of the lines sparked questions from fans, to which he responded with a pair of Instagram Story messages on Sunday, November 26. In one message, he stated, "Ima Piru, I aint Muslim or Jewish so don’t start no s–t wont be no s–t!!! Im trying to be peaceful but please do not wake up the demon in me. Go on about your f–king day.” In a follow-up post, Brown clarified that he is not antisemitic and emphasized that his music is made for the entire world, aiming to not spread hate or confusion. He addressed the million of young kids who look up to him, ensuring that they are not misled.
The event took place at Blue Dubai, and the club shared the event's videos on its Instagram Story. The three rappers appeared in matching all-black attire and exited the stage following the conclusion of the song.

In that same month, X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram limited West's accounts due to the posting of antisemitic comments. His actions were condemned by celebrities and fellow stars. In November 2022, West had dinner with white nationalist Nick Fuentes and former President Donald Trump. The next month, West made an appearance on Alex Jones' InfoWars, where he made controversial comments such as, "I love Jewish people, but I also love Nazis."
Following West's remarks, celebrities publicly criticized the rapper, and major brands such as Adidas, Balenciaga and Gap cut off their financial relationships with him. As a result, West lost his billionaire status.
