Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid is seemingly a fan of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship.
Reid, 65, expressed his happiness about the newfound connection between the two individuals during a recent interview with KHSB, Kansas City's NBC affiliate. He mentioned that it is a positive development that they have found affection for each other. This is not the only instance where Reid has shared his thoughts on the blossoming relationship. In October, the NFL coach humorously suggested that Swift, 33, is contributing to the improvement of the Chiefs tight end, 34.
"She is welcome to linger as long as she desires," he remarked following the Chiefs' triumphant 31-17 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.
Reid playfully mentioned in a press conference after the game that he had introduced the pair, teasingly recalling their encounter with the "Cruel Summer" songstress prior to her relationship with Travis. Reflecting back in October, Reid shared his recollection of meeting Swift several years ago.
“I first met her in Philadelphia when she was just a little girl because her dad was a huge NFL fan,” he shared on Donovan McNabb’s “The Five Spot” podcast on OutKick. “And now, here we are, years later still connected through our shared passion for the game.”

Reid, who used to coach the Philadelphia Eagles, happens to be the favorite team of the Swift family. Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, serves as the team's center.
Although Swift's family is associated with the Eagles, she has been seen cheering on the Chiefs, alongside her new boyfriend, multiple times this season. Additionally, Travis was spotted showing his support for Swift when she performed her Eras Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on Saturday, November 11.
Swift gave a public acknowledgement to her new relationship during her concert by altering the lyrics of her popular song "Karma." Instead of singing about the "guy on the screen" coming home to her, she substituted it with "guy on the Chiefs." Videos captured Travis's joyful reaction as he smiled and covered his face with his hands. Following the performance, Swift was spotted rushing off stage to share a kiss with Travis.

Since September, there have been rumors about the duo's relationship, which had a rocky beginning. During a performance in Kansas City as part of the Eras Tour, Travis tried to present Swift with a friendship bracelet that had his phone number on it, but it didn't go as planned.
Travis expressed his disappointment during his podcast "New Heights" with Jason, stating that he was disappointed that the artist did not engage in conversation before or after her shows. He understood that she needed to preserve her voice for the 44 songs she performed, but he was slightly upset as he had made bracelets for her and was unable to hand them to her personally.
