Jason Chambers, the sizzling captain of Below Deck, is facing challenges in his dating life. Balancing between work and taking care of his daughter, the 50-year-old reality star admitted, "It's a tough situation. I'm usually either working or spending time with my daughter." Nevertheless, he expressed his desire to alter this dynamic within the next year.
Chambers, who has a 7-year-old daughter named Saskia with his ex-partner Fuchsia Quinn, remains hopeful in his search for a life partner.
"With my daughter growing older and our settled life here, I am hoping that things will change for me next year. There needs to be a shift," he expressed. "I realize I am getting older, but I am letting things happen naturally. I am not actively dating as I simply don't have the time. If a potential opportunity arises, I am open to it. Hopefully, that happens sooner rather than later."
After starring on Below Deck Down Under since 2022, Chambers admitted that he isn’t opposed to a boatmance.

"We are adults working in a closely-knit environment, so romantic relationships among colleagues are bound to happen. However, it is important that these relationships do not hinder our work. Mature individuals should be able to recognize the boundaries between work and romance. If you wish to pursue a relationship, prioritize your work and refrain from engaging in romantic activities during work hours. Save your romance for outside of the workplace, when there is both time and privacy. This is a matter of maturity."
The captain further elaborated, comparing the situation to colleagues in an office setting. Just like in an office, it is inappropriate to waste time engaging in romantic activities in the workplace when you should be focused on work. This principle applies to us even more so, as we not only work together but also live together without the luxury of going home. It would be unfair to completely forbid romantic relationships because everyone deserves love and a little bit of romance."
Chambers has no intentions of pursuing a romantic relationship on the next season of Below Deck. He explained that he is not involved in the recruiting process and proceeded to share his desired qualities in a potential partner. He emphasized the importance of health and expressed interest in a partner who enjoys activities such as yoga and free diving. He also desires someone who is adventurous, appreciates nature, and values their wellbeing. Additionally, he mentioned the preference for someone with a good sense of humor who can enjoy a tasty margarita.
Chambers, a TV personality, has opted for Invisalign to enhance his smile as he gets ready to interact with new individuals. He has already witnessed a positive transformation in his looks and self-assurance. Chambers mentioned, "I wear them both during the night and throughout most of the day currently. However, the entire six-month procedure is already finished, and now I only have to use retainers."
Chambers confessed that observing himself on screen influenced his choice.

"I have severely misaligned teeth and the feedback I received during season 1... it made me feel even more uncomfortable," he revealed. "I had a consultation with a dentist before BravoCon [2022], and then on the morning of day two, they picked me up. They took me to a dental clinic where a 3D machine provided me with an exact treatment plan. It indicated, 'No need for tooth extraction. Just six months, and you're done.' And right then and there, they demonstrated how my teeth would look after the treatment."

Chambers added, "I was given 30 aligners and an app. The app would take nine different-angle photos of my teeth every week. These photos would then be sent to the doctor who would assess my progress and instruct me to move on to the next aligner if everything was fine. It felt like I was visiting a dentist clinic every day with the help of the app."
